Hello guys... i save my phone from a brick, and then i tried to switch from BR firmware to french firmware (in order to upgrade to JB) using RDS, but when the rebooting process started, the phone stayed in black, it didn not power up... so, it does not start up yet, when i push power button, the green led turns on for a few seconds and then the phone get off... i can not enter into recovery mode either... just the green led shows up and so...

i hope someone can help me fixing this huge issue.

best regards!!!

AW: Help!!!!!!!! My XT890 does not start up!!!

I guess both of you wasn't unlocked. If that's the case you guys killed the Bootloader. No way to save it now.
You can't flash anything if you're not able to boot into AP.

AW: Help!!!!!!!! My XT890 does not start up!!!

You had already updated to JB?
Even with an unlocked Bootloader you can't downgrade to ICS with RSD easily.

You have to remove the line gpt.bin & motoboot to flash an ICS Fastboot without an Brick. If you don't do that your Bootloader will be messed up and your Phone is dead.

My phone can enter fastboot

My phone can enter fastboot,“flash motoboot failed” with RSD, what can I do?I see motoboot the SBF inside. .Sorry, my English is poor

The beginning of time, the RSD can not read the phone, and then I try to use fastboot command Brush, brush into the boot file, brush system prompt bl file is too large, failed, and then I replace the computer, reinstall the system, RSD connected to the phone brushofficial SBF to the third step flash motoboot failed.I want to brush the official 4.1 GB was originally 4.0GB.How should I do it now?

What Firmware are you trying and what Firmware where you running, before you messed up?
I hope for you that you're not on your way to flash ICS over JB.

I notice that a lot of the bricks posted in these threads (and PMing me) have often less than 10 posts. This suggests people sign up here, download firmwares, flash without reading anything and BOOM. That's clearly a serious cause of a lot of this.

There appears to be different kinds of bootloader problems, I'm not totally sure if some of these are dead or repairable.
