Yes, in the first month they offer return and they refund you. No option of sending it in for repair, so I turned it in by myself under warrantyOk, a refurbished or returned product.
There is also a warranty.

Yep, luckily they didn't lose the phone.Well, that's unfortunate. They sent back my original phone with a changed motherboard (IMEI was different, don't know it they changed battery)... With a lot of dust behind one camera. I refused the repair, they are going to ship it back to the service center.. another 2 weeks If not more, considering upcoming holidays in Italy. I can confirm that xiaomi assistance in Europe is really terrible
Out of two friends that sent their Xiaomi for repair, one of them never got it back and the other received it completely bent. Let's hope this time will be ok..
Never seen that a Xiaomi Eu rom could destroy the motherboard.I was wondering.. if they replaced the mainboard (maybe also battery, idk) are we sure that it wasn't an issue caused by xiaomieu? Because I am worried that it will be the same story again if I try to root it and flash Xiaomi eu.. even though it seems unlikely, it died several hours after flash
Then it's hardware I guess. Well, we will see next month I think.. let's hope they don't screw up another time. Thank you for your support
Just curious, any update on this? How did it turn out for you? Then it's hardware I guess. Well, we will see next month I think.. let's hope they don't screw up another time. Thank you for your support![]()
Hi! I'm sorry, I totally forgot to update. The phone came back repaired but after a while I decided to return it to Amazon. There are numerous problems: short battery life compared to my mi10, heats up very quickly and throws overheating error every time. Also regarding 5g, it looses 5g network in idle sometimes and doesn't straight up connect to it when battery is 29% SOT or lower, unless the phone is plugged in. I've disabled 5g battery saving mode but no change..
I'll post an update when I have news. Thanks!
