Help Needed !!! Default launcher

I have been using new Huawei Ascend G7 for a few days now and there is a very annoying problem with default launcher.

I've installed and tried Google Now Launcher, Nova Launcher and few others but this phone reverts back to EMIUI default launcher every time I restart the phone.

I have changed it in default apps in settings but it just forces default again after every restart or turn off/on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My G7 runs Huawei OTA EU 5.1.1 Android and it is not rooted or unlocked. Just plain sim free phone.

Nova default launcher

I have the same problem on my G7 with Android 5.1.1.

i had same problem. After i rooted with King Root, never happened again. I dont know, i didnt changed anything but it works. Exactly im turning off my G7 every night and leaving to charge. When i turn on it back my custom launcher appears (Line Launcher). If rooting ok for you, you can try rooting.
