Help needed to unbrick from Fastboot

I was trying to root using Magisk Canary and ended up stuck at Fastboot, the phone said reason is "Enter reason: error boot prepare".

I tried to flash full firmware and ended up with partition write problem.

I posted the question in the root thread but have no response yet.

I was doing it with a Windows 7 machine, I wonder if that's a problem.

Any insight is appreciated.

[EDIT: I managed to save the phone by activating slot b, booted the phone, activated USB debugging then flashed the boot.img back to slot a. Problem solved.]

Are you using the latest SDK platform tools (fastboot)?
