Help!!! Nook HD+ YouTube video goes black but audio keeps playing

Nook HD+ After watching YouTube for awhile the loading circle starts spinning and video goes black but audio keeps playing, sometimes I can just hit n and go to home screen and open YouTube back up and it’s works fine but other time I have to quit app ,force close and delete cache and it’s starts working but other times I have to do all that and then go into recovery and wipe cache partition a couple times before it starts working again. Thanks in advance for any help!!

I ran into similar problems with YouTube in the past on some older CM12/CM13 versions but have not had them in LN14.1. I'd suggest you try upgrading to a recent LN14.1 build (see https://forum.xda-developers.com/nook-hd/development/marshmallow-nook-hd-hd-t3239269).

What causes it not to power off but reboot, I seen that this a problem they have discussed before but didn't know if there was a fix??

There is no fix for this. But you can just hold down the power button until the device is off (when the screen goes dark).
