Question HELP please: Stuck at Fastboot logo trying to access Fastboot for the first time.

Hi everyone,

First of all I hope this to be the right place for this question.
I was trying to access Fastboot for the first time to start a TWRP+EliteROM install from the stock MIUI 13, pressing VOLUME DOWN + POWER but when my Xiaomi 12 restarted it stuck just at the FASTBOOT logo.

It is not bricked (I could not even tryed to install nothing) because pressing the power button again it restarts Miui without problems. I also can access the Recovery menu pressing VOLUME UP + POWER.

Any Idea will be welcome!

No mention of bootloader unlock in your 1st post.

Sorry, I thought that "trying to access Fastboot for the first time" was clear enough.

I've found that one of the issues was that I had not insert any SIM card so I couldn't find "Mi Unlock status" y Developer Options. Now I can see it but even with Wi-fi off and Mobile data activated and running, when I try to Add Account and Device I get a "Connet to the net and Try again" message even having the device already linked in my Xiaomi account.

Anyway I tried unlocking and I get the message in the next image:

Any solution?

You just have to wait 168 hours to complete the unlock, like most people.

Until then you will have time to document yourself on how to flash a rom with Twrp or in Fastboot mode, in lower case.
