Serial Number restore

Hey developers, needed a bit of help from u.. actually i had flashed my micromax a120 to its stock rom without taking any back of nvram or the rom.. and after i did that i found out many errors like WIFI nvram error, Imei error etc. I have resolved all of them except one that is mobile serial number(Barcode number) that is 0123456789ABCDEF and i am trying a lot to change it but i am unsuccessful everytime. Could you please help me out to change it to my original serial number the one written on the mmx a120 box. please do help me... thank you.

Same problem did you find a fix? Everything but 3G isn't working. APN's good *#*#info#*#* good and I completed and IMEI back up but it was good.

Hi frnds,
I am using a micromax a120 and i dont know anything about rooting or flashing rom or anything but now i have a problem and i need your help. My phone was working fine with jellybean 4.2 but later when kitkat update appeared i upgraded my phone into kitkat4.4.2, and started the problems.
My phones wifi become so weak that it has very limited range and internet speed has gone so low .while other mobiles and tablets works fine in my home wifi. Also the bluetooth has also stopped working
Now i am thinking about downgrading to jellybean 4.2 for better usage i had earlier but i dont know how .
Is there any other option other than downgrading to recover my phones wifi .

Actually this wifi issues of my phone is making me nuts cuz i cannot use internet at all ,while other devices are working fine in my home wifi zone pls help me...

Hey Jathin.. I think your problem is more related with hardware issues.. I think your Antenna is having some problem..

INSTALLING CUSTOM RECOVERY​

Currently we have Three Custom Recovery For Our Device Those are:

1. [Unofficial][Fully Functional]Clock Work Mod Recovery (CWMR) Ported for by akashujjainkar

2. [Unofficial][Fully Functional]Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) Ported by akashujjainkar

3. Carliv Recovery Ported by Sk.D

I Prefer Clock Work Mod Recovery (CWMR) as i tested it on canvas a120 and working perfectly.

INSTALLING recovery.img

Step1: Just Download MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS from Play Store.

Step2: Copy and paste the recovery.img(the recovery name should be in small letters or else it will not detect.) to the root of the EXT-SD CARD.

Step3: Go to Mobileuncle Tools Grant acess if you are opening for the first time.

Step4: Then Navigate to RECOVERY UPDATE..

Step5: You will see recovery.img at the top of the screen, Just tap the recovery.img, It will ask for confirmation tap OK, and it will ask to reboot into recovery - Tap OK.

If you have sucessfuly installed u will be inside the Clock Work Mod Recovery after rebooting.

Just Navigate to Backup and Restore and take BACKUP of the Current Status of your phone.

FLASHING ROM USING SP TOOLS

1)Install Drivers.

2)Open SP tools

3)Select 'Android Scatter file' inside ROM folder.

4)Now shut down Canvas 2 Colors A120.

5)Click Firmware_Upgrade Button.

8)Wait till It finishes..A green ring is displayed on completion..

9)Now Close SP tool..Remove Phone from PC..

INIT.D

Please follow the below steps to enable or check wether your rom has init,d support

1. Download the file from here

2. Extract the file, you will get a file named 00test. DO NOT flash!

3. Paste it into System/etc/init.d. If there is no init.d folder, most probably you DO NOT have init.d support. However, if you still wanna try, just create the folder named "init.d"

4. Change the permissions of the init.d folder and 00test into rwxrwxrwx(Read/Write).

5. Reboot.

6. If you see a file named Test.log in System/data, you have init.d support. If not, you will have to run Universal init.d

I have tested many mods and tweaks but many of them are not working properly, i tested Xtweks(Working), TweakDrypt(Working), PurePerformaanceX(Not working) and will be updating as i test more... Please take backup before doing anything

But i that they have given two roms one is FOTA and another is WIKO.
can you suggest me which rom should i use in CWMR.

well that depends on what stock rom you were using before flashing custom rom i.e mmx120or wiko rainbow stock firmware... it would be much better in my opinion to flash stock wiko kitkat and then flash miui with wiko base...you will see profit...

Sorry did not understand what your saying please can you eleborate it in a simple language as I'm not much familiar with the wiko and total please tell me in less technical terms.
Also can you tell me how can I change boot screen animation.
