[HELP][Q] HTC Sensation crashes/reboots after ICS update

I'm trying to update my Sensation to android 4.0 and since then it keeps restarting, even when the screen is off and the phone is locked. It has now basically become unusable for 90% of the time. Has anyone found a solution to this problem apart from completely rebooting the phone?

HBOOT version ?

What ROM are you using ?

If it's a custom ROM have you upgraded the firmware to be ICS compatible prior to installing the ROM?

So, I assume that you're going from GB to ICS. Did you update the firmware? You can't run an ICS rom on top of a firmware used for gingerbread. Current firmwares are 3.32 and 3.33

needed upgrade plz...

i am having HTC SENSATION Z710e running android 2.3.4 and i wanna run 4.2.2 or 4.2.1 on my SENSATION and i tried to upgrade it with cm 10.1 and i managed to upgrade it but after that my SENSATION keeps restarting again and again so i used my back up n camE back on 2.3.4
i am sending you my phone informations that what i have done so far with it....

You need to update your hboot version. HBOOT version 1.17 is ONLY compatible with gingerbread ROMs.

You need the 1.27 hboot version and firmware 3.32 or firmware 3.33 to flash CM10.1 (android 4.2.2)/ CM 10 (android 4.1.x)

Flash the hboot patch (1.27) and the firmware from your bootloader screen.
