Does anyone know if the metal frame housing on the gsm evo 3d is the same as sprints? I cant find any listings that specify that it will fit. Thanks
It's been a while since I took apart the CDMA one, as I don't have access to it anymore, and I've never compared the two directly, but I'm 90% sure they are indeed identical.Does anyone know if the metal frame housing on the gsm evo 3d is the same as sprints? I cant find any listings that specify that it will fit. Thanks
Well... clearly not all the parts, but upon some research the screen assembly (metal chassis, digitizer and LCD screen) is identical for both models.I dropped mine and the bottom metal piece is bent and disconnected :-\
The glass didn't crack but now I think it isn't as sensitive as it should be. Are all the parts the same between cdma/gsm models?

So a deep gouge on the screen of a gsm can be replaced with a sprint assembly??Well... clearly not all the parts, but upon some research the screen assembly (metal chassis, digitizer and LCD screen) is identical for both models.
Hope this helps
Yep, as a matter of fact I have a sprint logo on the digitizer of the gsm... the major problem is actually releasing the glue behind the LCD without damaging it.So a deep gouge on the screen of a gsm can be replaced with a sprint assembly??
Awesome. Its a pain to remove the LCD digitizer from a glued display and having it look perfect.
