Help root mytouch 32B

I need help rooting my mytouch. Can anyone help or lead me to the guide/s necessary to root. I jus cant seem to get any progress on my own:

SAPPHIRE PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.0013 (SAPP30000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-2.22.28.25

im running on the 2.2.1 update.... the guide says it wont work with it

Weird... i know about more cases when people got root on 2.2.1. Try SuperOneClick - it is better and often updated...

Note: Some Antivirus-software may block utilities like UniversalAndRoot or SuperOneClick. That is why someone can not get root.

at first read this thread, then download and install z4root.apk from http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/z4root in your phone and root.... simple.... otherwise if you want to use ur pc to root, download http://shortfuse.org/?page_id=2 and follow the instructions. in my opinion , z4root is easier than super one click method. i tried both and my phone is same as yours. good luck.
