HELP SCREEN AT 60-75% all the time and EATS BATTERY!

My sensation drains the battery so fast and the main reason is that the screen eats up battery too much. I just flashed the latest rom and kernel from sultanxda and I dont have any apps yet on my phone. I just found out that the screen never goes down from 60 %. Its is always 60 % and higher. I set up the brightness for like 20 % and less and the sleep rate to 15 secs but it is still very high at all times. Help please I'm a newbie and i cant post screen shots. HELP me pls..

The problem u facing is common for all kitkat roms..Developers are working for a fix. Use sense rom for better battery life.
