[HELP] Standby stopping notifications in Nougat

I am using the latest version of Android, with the June 2017 security patch (my device is G4 Plus XT1640) rooted with magisk and xposed (just the module of the gravity box, and in magisk the viper4android module).

But something happens that bothers a lot, and this happens in the android since the early versions of its existence, which is the problem of interrupting the notifications after a time in standby (something that iOS never seen happen)

In my case, I wanted notifications of specific apps not to be interrupted (like WhatsApp, Instagram, Google+, etc.) but that's not the case, I know in version 7.0 Nougat, it has the battery optimization feature, where it manages to suspend application activities while it is in standby (or deep sleep), however, I deactivated battery optimization in applications that I wish not to be suspended, but it continues to suspend.

It may be until the system is not suspending the application, but the connectivity (in the case Wi-Fi) however in the Wi-Fi network settings I enabled it to not be suspended for inactivity, but even so I do not get notifications applications. I got to perform a test by sending a message on whatsapp to me after 20 minutes on standby, and it shows only one check instead of two check, when I unlock the screen, and open the application, the notifications appears all at once.

Is there a way (without requiring root resources or xposed modules) to resolve this problem? (Or is the solution only with root and xposed features?)

@AzuosDX I would recommend to uninstall Gravity Box and make sure you don't run applications like greenify or other doze apps like amplify. Please test again.
Well, the problem is that I can not go without using the features of the Gravity Box, because in it I use the resources of:

(Note: I did the test without the Gravity Box, and the delay stays the same)

* Modify the status bar (center the clock)

* Enable the download and upload consumption counter

* Customize navigation bar buttons (example: open WhatsApp with two touch, open the application drawer by holding the button, and etc.)

the Gravity Box I only use these features, and they do not directly affect the applications installed on the system, and I do not use any hibernation application, and even then I would not have them interfere if I enable specific apps to not be hibernated (just like I mentioned in the battery optimization part)

I think it's a problem in Kernel optimization apps, because I installed HEBF (an app that "promises" improved battery consumption, stability, smoothness in the system, etc.). And another app that is L-Speed, when I was using HEBF, I actually did some tests and I noticed that it does not interfere with the delay of notifications, but L-Speed is another story because after analyzing the application thoroughly, it can delay writes on the system, modify parts of the kernel responsible in standby (Kernel Sleepers) among other things.

The question is whether anyone else could use this same application to know if it really is the problem, because if other devices do not, then my device might be a combination of factors that lead to delay in notifications ( for example: Root + Xposed + L-Speed or Magisk + Xposed + L-Speed or HEBF + L-Speed and etc.)

I think I will reinstall the System Stock again, do everything like this now, but without using the L-Speed and HEBF customizations, and analyze if they really are the problem.

But is there any application that keeps other specific applications awake within the system? without hibernating them, or suspending them?

You the only thing that's the same is viper4android. Rom, kernel profile, greenify isn't the same like op. So maybe it's viper4android?
I've faced this issue before installed V4A.

Other problem is that my phone takes 3 ~ 5 seconds to turn on the screen after I push the power button or fingersensor.
