pretty sure bootloader is locked, you need to unlock it again with mtkclient

its not hard to unlock the bootloader ngl, ive done it and it was easy because of BROM mode

ik, but setting up mtkclient was already a bit difficult for me. the rest is a piece of cake and simple to use

its just a bat file with mtk xflash seccfg unlock

Is your bootloader unlocked?
I think it isnt , thats the reason you cant wipe it, first unlock your bootloader and then try again
