If the firmware and your phone don't have the same cust version (the number after C in your model number) then the firmware won't install... You'll have to have the firmware for your device... And if the cust version is same then sim card detection won't be an issue

Do you think i could use the KIW-L22 firmware or not? I wanna install Stock M because it's needed to install CM. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you, and if i do a modem backup with TWRP, could i restore it on Android M?
I think yes, but it would try to overwrite the system firmware and bootloader (which is risky). Many other moto e users tried to do the same thing, they tried to downgrade from kitkat 4.4.4 to 4.4.2 just by trying to restore the nandroid backup they previously took. This hard-bricked their devices because they tried to overwrite new firmware files with old software OS and old bootloader version. I don't know if this can happen with honor devices, but be very careful, because a device in a hardbricked state is as rude as a bald guy trying to grow out hairs (that was a bore joke wasn't it? :p), LOL! Jokes apart, but be careful and don't mess up your device.

Hit Thanks if I Helped You!!!

The option is gone in the Marshmallow firmware, so go on you don't need to activate it to unlock, just proceed as the tutorials say.

Hi Sir
Sorry for bothering once again
I tried to go on with the unlocking process, got the unlocking code through
DC unlocker but on fast boot it keeps giving me (remote: Necessary to unlock FRP! Navigate to Settings > Developer option) error.I don't have a clue what it means.
Thank you again

Welcome brother, we are here to help each other.
As I recall you told someone to roll back to lollipop to activate the "OEM unlock" in developer settings then get back to Marshmallow and try unlocking, is this the solution here, or do you have something else on your mind ?

you must be on marshmallow, what you have to do is,

flash a rollback package
roll back to lollipop
go to settings >developer options > check enable oem unlock
then update to marshmallow again,
now, boot to bootloader and carryon the unlocking process

you should be good

ps: i would highly recommend the traditional way to unlock bootloader, not any other unlockers
