Hello,
I would like to ask to everyone, which twrp recovery version & the link to download that able to mount NTFS sd card & otg?
The latest 3.1 from official twrp site can't mount this formatted (ntfs) drive
If there's none that can mount it, anyone can suggest any solution to make it able mount on twrp & still can have file size bigger then 4gb?
Thanks!
@bizz_koot
I'm no expert, but from what I'm seeing online NTFS support is added by ntfs-3g which has to be added to a TWRP build with a build flag.
Source. So unless you find someone that deals with that for the phone you're using, you may not get that. Unless you figure a way to do it yourself. Sorry about that.

Hi all. Hopefully this has not been asked before or discussed. Kind of doubt it though.
Thing is - I'm torn between OSes. Here's a quick breakdown and then the major issue I have with choosing.
Official OS6
Very good. Most things work. Has app permissions. Things that don't work include some games and TransDroid/TransDrone.
Official OS5
Just doesn't have app permissions. Everything works with no problems - haven't had any games/apps not work that I can recall.
Custom ROMs
Results vary with the fingerprint (FP) reader. Works MUCH FASTER than the stock ROMs. Overall performance is better. SD card handling is different.
And now for the big problem. I've really only used AICP so far since it's the only one that I've gone through the threads and found that the FP reader is working. So far - no problems. BUT. The stock OSes handled the SD card in a way that I loved. EVERY SINGLE APP that I downloaded would go to the SD card. The resource/space hog WhatsApp was located on the SD card out of the box with the stock OS. All I had to do was set the default location to the SD card and all files are there.
The difference between this on both the stock OSes and the base ones used for (most) custom ROMs is the way Android OS 6+ uses/handles SD cards. You either have to marry it to the file system forever, or treat it like an ugly relative that you keep at arms length. I love being able to just take out my SD card and copy to/from. Especially in cases where the card may be going bad. If it's stuck married to the OS then I have to wipe it each time. I do own Apps2SD and it does work, but I think maybe I got too accustomed to the stock OS just doing it all for me.
So - the question - do you guys know of any custom ROM that will handle the SD card like this? If not I dunno what I'm going to do. Probably stay with AICP and manually move the media to the SD card when I can, or maybe use the debloat script for one of the stock ROMs and just settle for either no app permissions, or not being able to play some games/run some apps.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. As long as there's some solution or direction. If not - I guess we'll just wait and see? And hope that Honor comes out with an official Nougat that handles the RAM better....
*EDIT*
Oh yeah. The dialer on the stock ROM is better IMO - I personally rather those that have the two SIM dial buttons there. And I rather the OS5 dialer that integrated with the contacts and SMS versus the one in OS6 that has the SMS separate. Anyways.
Sometimes I wish I knew more about this stuff. Would customize the ROM the way I want. Use the AICP as a base and remove the components I don't like then put in the ones I do like from the stock OS. Anyways. Hoping to get a reply.
Thanks in advance.
*EDIT*
Somewhat solved the dialer issue with
True Phone. It's more like a front-end for the phone dialer. Not bad still - dual SIM support and some decent features. And unlike others, it actually uses the SIM you select without prompting. Also gives you the two buttons for SIM1/SIM2 to call from. Paid for it. Good stuff.
