Vmall.com does not ship outside China. And the stock for Honor Magic ends quick because lots of buyers ( and comparatively low production I'm guessing). So you will have to buy it instantly in seconds and some luck.

I read on different websites, if I import an honor magic to europe, there exist some features depending on the european beta software for magic life, who can't be used? Do you know which one won't work in Germany and whether it exist another software I can use and If I use the origin firmware for china and I change the language to english, if this won't work, too? And one more question because I've seen different informations: Is it possible to change the language to german while using the origin firmware? thank you

As far as I know there is only English and Chinese language for the ROM. There is no international ROM as the phone only sold in China and since the ROM is new.

The features which won't work are mostly the AI features like automatically showing your train or movie ticket based on locations, or showing your tracking number when you are at the courier service and so on. These kind of AI features which are many will not work outside China.

I just got this phone on Amazon and I've updated it to MM. But am trying to unlock the bootloader but could login to the Huawei website to get the code.. after I login, it display blank page. What can I do?

Got mine at the end of Jan when I was in China. Only has Chinese and English. Most Chinese phones are not locked
unless you buy from the phone company. Took it to USA for 2 months-Feb & March and it worked great. Comes with
Google Play and many Google apps out of the box and works Great. A little quirk is that I can't find a way to start an
SMS with an automatic cap at the beginning of a sentence. Has 2 different OS-you can pick. I'm on Magic Live and get
updates twice a month. This is my 4th Honor phone and have loved them all. Camera on mine works better than and
iPhone 6S. Now in the Philippines and working great here also.

I have the phone for a month , I manage to install google services and every thing fine BUT I can't install any launcher or but any widget. I tried all the ways but nothing solve the issue, I guess it is related to their UI Magic Live

I just installed xda labs & when identifying my device it first recognised it as honor 5x, which is correct, but it immediately changed to say honor magic! & the 5x isn't in the options to manually select my device model...
Any body has same/know of a fix? I'd love to be able to utilize the told/links under the my-device page in this app!

it's just a mistake, just search back and manually set your phone.

Queries on Honor Magic usage

Hi There,

Honor Magic looks amazing, charging is super fast! UI is different, need time to get used to it i feel.

Still struggling on how to setup phone and use it, some help please.
1) Unable to install launcher apps - i found here on xda it's not possible, any luck with it?
2) How to enable face code in settings? not able to find it.
3) There was one option of choosing Magic Live UI or another so that v get frequent updates, how to chose it?
4) Trying to create folders or add widgets to home screen, unable to do, help pls
5) How to go to menu in SMS or contacts or other apps, want to merge duplicate contacts, try options.

This feels like mix of Android and bit of apple with control centre, etc.

Please give tips on how to use UI, finding bit tough few things, hope to understand in next few days.

Enjoying the glass slab Magic, it's awesome actually!

With your helpful tips & couple days use - figured below things
- Face code enable done, rarely use SMS, but good to have during travel.
- Magic Live UI - Yes, seems like this is gone.
- Create folders works.
- Merge duplicates, SMS options, etc.

Few observations
- Magic live stable/evolutionary option is probably gone.
- My phone has Kirin 955 (instead of 950), I suppose it's an upgrade.
- Battery shows as Li-Po instead of Li-Ion on cpu-z, hope this will not be less battery life.
- Notification LED seems not present, not able to find any settings and also not able to use any light apps.

Bit restricted options and all, feels iphone bit

Overall, feels great using and still love it, so many options from older honor phone can be added. Would love it more.

the screen and design and wight of phone is gorgeous , battery life is below average, fast charging is very fast it called magic charge it is faster than QC3

the camera it is OK but the phone without launcher is not useful .

P10 is better choice over it

Simply from the Play Store. You need root to convert it to system app. There are lots of apps for it.
