Guys Huawei is stopping issuing of Bootloader codes from 24-05-2018 for newer devices and after 60days more for all the devices.

Currently have an aging Axon 7 which is looking like will never get Oreo. I was looking to get a new phone in the next few months but I really dislike the rear fingerprint sensor. So the View 10 looks pretty good, but I had a few [basic] questions

1) Has the Android Auto issue been fixed?
2) Can you replace the stock launcher with Nova?

I'm having second thoughts too, because of the finger print sensor. Maybe wait for the Xiaomi Mi7, which will probably have the fingerprint scanner under on the screen (!!).
As for your questions:

He is taking about inbuilt EMUI power manger is killing other launchers and reverting to default settings in latest EMUI version. Its not honoring user preferences.

Honor 10 is definitely more powerful than OP3/3T and equal to S8 /S8+

I've just run Androbench on mine, and have a sequential read speed of 752MB/s, which I believe means it's UFS 2.1?

I have an isseu, the content of the message is hidden in thr notifications on block screen. I've tried to un-hide them searching the right voice on the system menù but finally i didnt fix this annoying issue. Can you please hekp me? Tnx

anyone already unlocked bootloader and tried to install some lineage/RR treble image? any issues on our phone? can we flash just with ADB and stock Huawei recovery, are opengapps included and magisk can be flashed through magisk manager on stock recovery?

I dont think anyone has installed custom ROM yet. I been just less than a week it launched internationally.
And coming to unlocking currently unlocking page is down and we have to rely on mail communication or on DC Unlocker.

well by email it should take at best 2 days i think and if someone got it immediately at release they could get code already on Friday and try GSI, I just applied yesterday, so hopefully this week i will receive unlocking code, though not sure if i wanna be first to check for bugs even if it doesn't bootloop

Resolved, there is a toggle into the face unlock option.

Yes you can remove on screen navigation bar. Just search nav in settings and you will get the option to do so.

still nobody brave to try GSI ROM or at least that Magisk image? i have unlocked bootloader already

if someone tell me how to backup system.img and ramdisk.img so i can return back in case of bootloop/brick i am willing to try if there is no other risk than just flashing stock back

Anyone knows how to run integrated qr scanner when the phone is unlocked? On Honor 9 there is an icon when swipe down on homescreen but it is not on Honor 10. I found barcode scanner only on lock screen but from lock screen I cannot access gallery to scan from photo since the phone is locked. Thanks

2.Open image in default gallery app
3.click on 3dots (more)
4. you will have option scan qr code in more options if app detects qr code.
