Bricked honor 10

Hello, I'm new to the xda forum. I need help with unblocking my honor 10 COL-L29 C636. I had flashed a manual update with fastboot. After the update I was bricked now I can not get the phone to boot into download mode or recovery mode on the phone. Can't reflash back to stock. Please help! Thanks in advance

What exactly you have done and what was your previous build and what is the build you tried to flash?

Hello, does root with Magisk cause problem with Gpay on this device or not? I would like to flash Magisk but I'm using Gpay very often. Thanks for answers

I was on B130 and tried to update to B143.
I've got it fixed with funky Huawei unbrick tools.
I'm now on COL-L29 8.1.0 B143 (636).

You can natively screen record in Honor 10 , Just press vol+ and power button you will get the pop up.

VoLTE is available in Indian Variations out of the box. It can also be enabled by build prop edit.

what is codename of Honor 10? i find it odd all other Huawei phones have one and i am unable to find it for honor 10

You can natively screen record in Honor 10 , Just press vol+ and power button you will get the pop up.

Why come twrp always ask pattern to decrypt data whenever I set security lock in my phone?
When there is no security lock done on phone it works fine, I can easily access data on twrp.

Hello guys!!! Basically I can not surf the internet during a call. I set the data traffic on the SIM 2 as on honor 8 only that as soon as I start a call from the SIM 1 the data on the SIM 2 switch off. Does anyone have the same problem:crying: ??? Thank you

Yes same here I too cant use Data while on a call.
Did you enable mobile data always on in developers menu if no enable it and check

There are custom roms for h10 already, the catch is Huawei stopped giving away bootloader unlock codes which are necessary to root the phone and install a custom recovery (TWRP) that can flash custom roms.

Lock screen forgotten

Hi, I got my phone fixed recently and it was away for a long time and when it finally came back i had forgotten my lock screen password. I mostly used the fingerprint scanner but you have to put in the pass code after you turn it off and on again. I have tried putting it into recovery mode and then factory resetting it from there but after i go through the startup sequence it asks for my lock screen password even though it claims to have wiped everything. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
