Is your operating system hiding the extension name, so twrp.img is becoming twrp.img.img?

Open command window on the folder (or navigate into it) and type(according to the operating system)-
Linux- ls
Windows- dir
And check the output.

It seems like basic thing, a bit nooby but can actually help.
Also if you have windows, verify that the icon of the file has a disc.

... Still should i apply new firmware? :)
I would.. It couldn't hurt.
It's possible the file you have now is corrupted. So yeah, grab a new copy, even if it's just to eliminate that as the cause of your problem. If you can get into stock recovery., do a full factory reset before you flash the image. If it installs just fine, reboot to system. and let the android OS load completely before you do anything else (like root or flash TWRP).

Cheers x
