I have a XT1643 device, I recently updated to Official N,then after I unlocked the bootloader successfully.
But I am unable to flash Supersu as the phone not booting after that, I have read lot of threads and come to a conclusion that as of now there is no proper method for flashing supersu and booting phone.
My question is can I still flash any custom rom without any problem as bootloader is already unlocked or I have to wait for the solution for rooting?
thanks

You don't need to be rooted to flash custom roms.. you can flash any custom rom as long as you have unlocked bootloader.

Thank you for the answer.... There's no way to flash official nougat ota other than by downgrading ???
You are on 1st soak test that means you will not receive any future updates. Only way is to downgrade to official MM & then update to nougat via official release.

I don't think that's a good idea..it will fail to install on 1st soak test. if you're bootloader is locked & you worrying about your warranty.. then you are probably stuck on 1st soak test. Because bootloader needs to be unlocked to revert back to MM. & Without reverting back to MM you will not receive any future updates.

Oh ok thanks alot for the info
Bdw how much time it'll take to release the firmware
That is unknown, Motorola doesn't publicly release firmware for most devices.
Only a few people have access to Moto servers, but they have to search through thousands of files
See my index, for some links to those who have posted Motorola firmware before
Moto Drivers, Firmware, RSD Lite, and other Unbricking Tools
If you can send the build.prop file to someone like daywaker
He maybe can find it
