Hey, thank you for replying.

I could be wrong but it seems fairly common due to it returning a decent number of results on Google, mostly to this forum. There's lots of threads reporting similar issues but not a lot of discussion. Nobody seems to have a solution past taking it to a repair centre, but it just feels like such a strange issue.
Without cited sources that could be just a few random declarations without much evidence. This does not mean it cant be common but there are no clues to follow. Please cite the source of the most convincing statements you found about this which leads you to think it is common.

f I try to play something on Google Play Music, the track just won't start. Youtube gives an error message saying playback failed. Media just doesn't attempt to play at all. Plugging headphones in doesn't work either, they're just not detected.

Up until a couple of days ago, I could still hear sound when booting up the phone but that's stopped now. I saw a couple of people say that they opened up the phone and found that the connector for the speaker was loose and was a fairly simple fix, but I don't really want to open up the phone unless I really have to.
That makes it sound like it might be a software issue, so definitely don’t open up the device yet. Rather try a clean flash with no third party modifications. If you are on stock then try factory reset. If you can reproduce the issue in a clean flash/factory reset then you might consider posting a bug report at whatever resource is available for the ROM you are using. It also might be a good idea to wait a few days to see if anyone else here can provide information about this.

Portrait mode of front/back cam or what you mean exactly? Please be more detailed. There are several apps on play store simulating a portrait mode(blurry background) if you don't have a telephoto lens on board.
For the back cam. I need camera like camera nx for Moto G4 plus. I tried many apps like this but any of them didn't work

There is a known device specific issue in Athene LOS wherein there is a lag between power button press and screen on, and which has been reported to this LOS Jira ticket; https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-1115). Whether or not you are using Lineage OS you can review the notes in that ticket as well as search the main LOS 14.1 Athene thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-1-t3522101/page281) to see if it is the same issue.

Also, it might be diagnostically helpful if you could try the following the following simple tests and share your results.

1) Press power button once (resisting the temptation to do so again) and time how long it takes for the screen to come on. If you are experiencing the same bug it could take anywhere from 3-12 seconds but I'd suggest giving it 30 seconds before pressing the power button again.

2) Press power button then immediately, with phone in hand rather than sitting still on a flat surface, wave the front close to a something. This makes the device see activity in the proximity sensor and motion/gyro sensors (which seem to be part of the issue). In my case this works so reliable that now, every time I pick up the phone to power it on I reflexively wave it across my torso or arm.

There is another issue with Gestures settings (mentioned in my last note in that ticket) which may relate to this and which I may post about in the LOS 14.1 Athene dev thread this weekend. If you are running LOS you could add notes to that ticket any time.

I am using Resurrection remix rom (Nougat) . The issue you mentioned doesn't exist the screen wake up time is just instant. Either by using fingerprint or power button. If you are rooted then definitely try this..:)
Thank you, that does inform the issue in a few ways, although first one point of clarification; The issue I'm referring to relates to devices that do not have a fingerprint scanner, in this case XT1625. The same issue may be present on devices with fingerprint scanners but the symptoms and testing suggestions might be different. Here's where your feedback (and others') inform the issue:

- Still no one has confirmed it on stock (within my range of xda and jira observations).
- AFAIK, this has been reported from devices with fingerprint scanners but I'm not certain.
- If also occurring on devices with fingerprinting scanners then maybe RR fixed.
- IIRC there has been at least one report that it does no occur in LOS 15.x

Here is a link to a post in the Athene LOS 14.1 dev thread about possible association between multiple oddities regarding Setting > Gestures (2nd item, not quick gestures) and or the sensor states those settings invoke.

Data usage consumed by Android is is still bugged?
AFAIK, there is no such properly reported and acknowledged bug in Lineage OS 14.1.

If you want to report this is a bug in LOS 14.1 you can gather the requisite information (device details, and logs, and detailed description of how to reproduce the issue) and create a viable bug report at LOS Jira; https://jira.lineageos.org/secure/ then share a link to the jira ticket in the LOS 14.1 development thread.

If you just want to spam threads to ask if something is "still broken" (without even having ever properly reported it) then use general threads such as this one.

Just Allow USB Debugging From Your Mobile Screen When You Connect Your Mobile to PC and Run adb Command .. Their Comes a Pop-Up Message to Allow Your Computer To use ADB access..

If everybody is else seems to be misunderstanding the description then there is a problem with the description ;).

That being said, there may be hope. Firstly to set expectation of what is normal:

- When device is completely powered off AND NOT connected to a charger, holding power button for 3-5 seconds should power up and boot to system.
- When device is completely powered off AND NOT connected to a charger, holding power button and volume down buttons for 3-5 seconds should power up and boot to bootloader.
- Although you can start the device while powered off and connected to charger it should be noted If the device is plugged in while it is charging it is technically not powered off but rather is running a miniature OS that handles just charging. In that case the delay to power on may be longer.

An apparent exception to the aforementioned expectations which you may (or may not) be experiencing:

There is a odd behaviour that I've seen in several Motorola Android devices including Athene, Osprey and Peregrine where; during the first few minutes after powering down the device (or after turning the screen on when it is charging) the device does not seem to respond to to the long press or if it does it may take longer. When I power down the devices and leave them untouched for at least 2 minutes then the respond to the button presses properly.

So try this::

- No charger
- Power off from menu (not from zero battery charge)
- Leave device alone for 5 minutes (start with 5 minutes the shorten it later if this works)
- Press and hold power button.
- If that does not work then repeat the 4 steps above and also wave the device so something passes across the proximity sensor on the front side.

If none of that works you might have a hardware problem.

My phone Boots Up when i Try Multiple time Pressing And Holding power Button for a while ...

Connecting to charger - Not Helping
Leaving device for a while or long - Not Helping

This is happening when my device is Rooted .. I have Completely Unrooted it and locked bootloader then it was working fine but after unlocking bootloader i am facing this problem again :(
