G4 XT1625, unlock version, Lineage 14.1 , Android 7.1.2

Usually, I keep the Bluetooth off, and switch it on when I need it. But the bluetooth doesn't function when I turn it on. and searching shows no available device. All old devices are listed there, as paired devices.
After restarting the phone, then the bluetooth starts to function, can be switched on , paired to devices, and works as it should be.
It seems when the bluetooth is off a while, will enter a deep sleep status, won't be woken up
Anyone has the same experience? How can we fix it?

I would recommend a clean flash after taking a twrp backup just to test if it's working properly.

It can be flashed normally like all other custom ROMs.
Difference is Treble or Non-Treble.

If treble,
You should have Treble recovery, all other stuffs are normal,
Flash ROM, Gapps, Magisk, other mods if you want.

Non-treble,
Doesn't need treble recovery, everything same..

Edit: Latest builds are non-treble, proceed with same as old steps..

FYI regarding expectations and waiting for this answer: Remember that this isn't a paid tech support group where it would be reasonable to have sharp expectations about getting an answer (especially when we use the wrong thread to ask our questions). For those expectations we would just purchase overpriced I-Phones (then complain to Apple support about all the things that I-Phones cant do that Android can do). :silly:

But seriously: The thread you posted in is a development thread which means it focuses on things which inform the development of the ROM such as bug reports. That would not include such questions "as what do you think of this ROM" or "what bug does this ROM have?" For such general inquiries and discussion regarding Athene you should this thread. Don't consider using this thread downgrade - it is a more appropriate place for your question and there are some knowledgeable users who have experience with LOS and other ROMs here.

Also, if you search this thread and the development thread (searching for answers is actually an XDA rule) you'll find mentions of a few of LOS 14.1 Athene bugs. Note that different people will experience issues differently but If you have more questions about what you find in the thread don’t hesitate to ask.

I know of 2 bugs which affect my usage case:

1) Occasional "spontaneous" reboots"
2) Lag of up to 7 seconds between power button press and screen on (does not affect all users).

I reiterate that you might or might not experience these bugs but you can find more information about them by searching the threads as suggested. You could also search LOS (Jira https://jira.lineageos.org) which is the official problem tracking system for LOS to see what is being are reporting there.

On official rom, i guess i am facing hardware issue. In case of network not stable or going up and down, or putting a call on speaker mode, or music at high volume, device shuts down. So, replacing motherboard will solve the issue or i should go for a new device?

Moto g4 plus hard brick

Hello I need immediate help as my Moto G4 plus has hard bricked. Actually yesterday I decided to revert back to stock firmware as I was using a custom Rom on my device. So went into TWRP Recovery. And wiped the system then suddenly the phone turned off, I thought that the battery was dead so plugged in the charger and no screen turned up only the led blinked. So I got to know that it was a hard brick. So I searched on internet and downloaded blankflash. It got flashed then I am trying to flash the partition and boot loader but it is not flash its failing please help me in this matter . Right now I am not able to flash the partition table nor boot loader. And service center is saying to change the motherboard which is costly. And also I forgot to mention I am flashing partition And boot loader. Both are failing so please help me in this issue...

I relocked bootloader using april 2018 file but my fp and one imei is lost and bootloader got locked, there is no sim working and "fastboot oem get_unlock_data" shows no data and i am unable to unlock the device again or flash anything else except the april update.

Can anybody help?

I've returned to stock rom that is 7.0 with April security patch from custom rom. But I kept the bootloader unlocked. So the problem is whenever I reboot my moto g4 plus the id shows " bad key ", will there be a problem while upgrading to Android 8.1 as I've heard the news that soak test has been completed for 8.1?
