Anyone have found a workaround for the speaker phone issue when you flash any lollipop stock rom on the xt1060 for example¿? It's safe to flash a xt1053 modem to the xt1060 for example??

I have a Moto X XT1058 with an Unlocked bootloader.
I've been flashing for a while now and its always worked out but this time after updating to Lollipop and flashing all the partitions from the stock ATT 5.1 ROM, my phone doesn't boot into system at all - goes straight to recovery. I've tried to re-flash the bootloader, recovery and other partitions and even tried flashing bootloaders of the EU 5.1 and Asia 5.1 ROMS but to no avail.

EDIT: So I managed to boot into system by selecting "Factory" from the fastboot screen, but unfortunately thats the only way I can boot into system - a normal reboot always opens recovery.
Furthermore after booting into system (through the Factory option) I am unable to connect to my cellular network. It's showing my correct IMEI but says the radio is off. I've tried countless methods to try to switch the radio on but none of them work. The phone also doesn't charge in this state.

I've managed to find that flashing and flashing on this phone could get the partitions get corrupted very easily, the othe day i had to make a full stock flash because it just keeps bootlooping.

xt1058 5.1, i have uninstalled all updates, cleared data and cache in app, ive tried after market app from play store and only the front facing works, i tried in safe mode front works only, i just did a clean install with rsd to 5.1 and i dont know if it worked before? i have also replaced the cam module from the board with 2 different cams, no skype only the test app i installed, ive never had a cam i could not fix, any input would be greatly appreciated

Cyanogenmod or Nexus Experience. You have to try those by yourself.

Boot loader loop ( while upgrading from kit kat to lollipop

Hi,

I have bought a MOTO X 2013 CDMA ( US Cellular ) Unlocked mobile on EBAY last year september. I have tried to upgrade my phone from Kit Kat to lollipop through Wifi.
But i am not able to open it because it is optimizing fro past 5 days. not able to open it. i have done the hard reboot, factory reboot, still it is the same.
twice it started but for 5 minutes and again it says optimizing.
i am using this instrument from India and my service provider is reliance.
Request you to kindly suggest me.

The phone is not functioning properly i.e hanging a lot and not allowing me to use the phone properly, this usually happens after 10-15 min of phone's initial boot. So, I was thinking to do a factory reset, is it a good idea? or will it do some harm ?

Tell us here which are the exact steps you're doing to perform the factory reset.

I suggest to remove Xposed. I really dislike that, so i never had an issue maybe because of not using that ****.

last week it automatically started worked for 5 days and yesterday when i switched on again it is optimizing.
i am holding the volume and start button and tried factory reset and recovery options.
still it is not working.
The model is Moto XT 1055.
Let me know if you need any further details.

You have to flash xposed uninstaller first

Try to use the latest xposed and read the official thread to avoid problems.

I just purchased a moto x 2013 and want to get it onto 3g its an xt1050 and i can only use 2g/4g in the rom im using. (5.1 stock retail us) not sure which carrier. How can i get 3g to be availabe as an option to select? Currently using 4g but battery life is not great, help please. thanks

I recently rooted my XT 1052 (Asia) using TWRP 2.8.6. While installing CM 12.1's 30/8 Nightly, I got an error that read "error executing updater binary in zip". What is that? Now I have updated my TWRP to Official 2.8.7. I saw that a stable build was released for 'ghost'. I have downloaded it. Is it necessary to download CM Recovery (on the official CM download page) to install it or will TWRP be fine?
So someone please help me in both of my queries.

P.S. I am new in rooting and flashing.

No it is not necessary. With your error i believe it is from twrp usually re-downloading and re-flashing twrp fixes that error from what i can remember.
