Xperience 10.0.2 ROM won't boot

I was bored and pulled my old XT1053 out of a drawer just to mess around with it. It was running Eclipse 4.0, based on 4.4.4 Moto Blur. I downloaded/flashed Xperience 10.0.2 with TWRP 2870 and have now been looking at a boot animation for 10 minutes or so. My gut tells me I should have done a little research before making such a big jump. Anyone have any thoughts or guidance?

Update: I managed to boot into the bootloader because I thought perhaps I might need to upgrade/downgrade it. Looks like current version is 30.B7. It that possibly the problem?

I bought a new XT1052, because my old Moto X (stock ROM) has already lost some parts.

Now I would like to try cyanogenmod. Which Version should I Install? Stable or nightly? Which Bootloader?

I just want a phone that works stable with a good OS... Or is it better to use stock Rom, if I don't want troubles?

What rom is best for you, is a personal choice, best to try a few and see what you like.
Custom roms require an unlocked bootloader,
is the bootloader already unlocked?
What is the current rom version?

Hello Nadir, don't try to do anything before contacting support.

So I got the Verizon XT1060 a couple of days back, put my SIM in and everything was working fine for a couple of days. Made a few calls, texted a bunch. Everything was good.

Never really got a chance to check how data worked since I was always on WiFi but yesterday when I tried making the mobile internet work it just wouldn't . I have a 3G connection, so I thought might as well give it a shot and started putting in the APNs in according to what my provider said. I came across a post that said you can't select just 3G for the XT1060 and you'd have to install this app called PhoneInfo(Ad) to make 3G only work.

So I installed the app. Set it to WCDMA only. And restarted the phone. Ever since then my phone has been on no-signal. Can't make calls/texts. No bars. I can read stuff on the SIM card just fine though. Today I went and got a new SIM Card hoping it'll work. But nothing. Zilch. Factory reset multiple times. Just no signal at all. In About Phone, in status information, the network shows up as unknown.

I don't exactly know what the problem is here. I talked to my provider and they said everything was fine on their end and I should check if my model is compatible. Which it is. At least for EDGE, if not for 3G. If phone was receiving signals and all before, then that definitely means it was compatible, right?

Any way. I'm based in Islamabad, Pakistan. And the phone is a Verizon XT1060 16GB. This is the only phone I have right now and I REALLY need to get this phone working asap.

I'm going to try and flash the stock image onto it. The phone was running stock VZW 4.4.4 and is not the dev edition. So I can't root.

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Because its a new phone, better to get it fixed if its under waranty by any shop or place you bought it. If you dont have any waranty, and the place u bought it don't help you, then you can try to flash any rom (after studied a lot in forums about your phone)

Bootloop after rooting 5.1 android

i have a moto x xt1058 and i recieved the OTA update and everything goes well until i root the device.
i used kingo root, and then when i reboot the phone appear the expected warning of bootloader unlocked, and after shows up the bootanimation and just remains frozen forever in the water ball with an M in the center.

Before i had android 4.4.4, and i can't get into the recovery mode, says (no command) under the "injury" android figure.

please help me! i'm desperate

I have some questions about custom roms(Moto x 2013 rooted)

Guys, hello, im new here, nice to meet you all. I have my moto x 2013 for 2 years, and i rooted it some months ago, to remove and disable some native apps from moto. but i still have some problems with the battery, and with the smarthphone getting warmer with gaming. my main problem is the memory ram. its always like 80%. when i refresh the ram, it goes to 30%. then after i open some apps, it goes back to 70%, then 80%. also, the lack of space is really anoying. i have like only at max 3gb free for downloading things. only 12gb of space available, even if the smartphone has 16gb. so i was looking for a solution to this, then i readed about cyanogen but i dont fully understand about it. im really a casual user, i cant do one single step by myself without using a tutorial or youtube video.

the custom roms will fully erase all the content on my phone? its really true that i cant acess play store anymore? i bought some apps there and i dont want to lose it, or even buying new apps on it. where do i start? custom rom will make some miracle for my moto x 2013?

If u have successfully rooted u have covered the first step from stock
Then install TWRP recovery using mfastboot
Then find ur desired ROM in development section

If u have synced ur Google account don't worry ur paid apps will download again in new ROM if u use the same google account
Miracle is how u take the change in the ROM u flash


I suggest u to flash official cm13 for Ram Management,smooth ,battery backup,OTA

Hi, my problem is that I have a Moto xt1058 and it went to a fullbrick after the camera OTA and I can't flash any firmware

Borked my phone.. Now it won't even flash stock firmware. Stuck on the motorola screen. Was running LPAS23.12-21.7-1. Any ideas how to get back safely. Same firmware refuses to flash properly. Downgrade errors pop up

Using fastboot. RSDLite tends to refuse to recognize the file but i haven't tried it yet
