Well, all listed apps shows the normal consumption behavior (+/- 1% per app). This situation is happening specifically after I restart phon:. 100% before reboot... 15% after reboot.

I have made factory wipping, installed original ROM, reset battery stats, checked battery health (good) and still this is happening.

Any other trick suggestion?

Moto Z Wifi Calling on T-Mobile?

Friends, I have just purchased a new Moto Z directly from Motorola and am using it very successfully here in the US on the T-Mobile Network. I love it and it does everything I need it to do, except for one thing. I cannot find where to turn on the Wi-Fi Calling feature, although I am almost positive I checked to make sure the phone had that capability before I bought it. I can't imagine that the phone doesn't support Wi-Fi Calling, but I am beginning to think that may be the case. Can someone help me please? I really need that feature, that is almost an elementary feature these days. Thank you to everyone.

Need help

I installed SuperSU.zip through twrp and everything works but only for a minute or two. Then SuperSU and rootchecker say not rooted. I went through all the steps again and same results. It also works to reset the phone but again only for a minute or two.

No. The phone is new, just set up Google only and installed SuperSU and rootchecker. I was thinking I could try magisk and see if that had better results?

Random noob question

I just replaced Moto z force with an unlocked Moto z for rooting. I can live with (barely) the decrease in battery life but Ihad no idea the UIs would be different. I much prefer the Moto z force and have found the command center widget for download but is there a way to get the forces's UI on a Moto z? Why are they different?

Just tried magisk in twrp keeps saying failed install. im on 7.1.1 if that helps I'm outta ideas.

Okay I tried to factory reset my phone to see if I could start over again and now it wont get past twrp. it just boots into that and wont boot into android. Please help.

I tried to flash stock rom off sd card and that failed too.

which Rom has aptx working?

I'm on lineage nightly but it keeps using bluetooth sbc and the modules to enable it don't have any effect like the did on the nexus 5/5X

EDIT: I removed lineageOS because APTX didn't work. I'm on a stock-ish rom now and it works. Resolved.

What is the "vendor image" equivalent for Motorola phones? After a flashing a rom, should I also look for things like an updated vendor image and radio software?

I originally asked this question on Nov 11th, then posted it again here on Nov 14th. I have not had as much as even an acknowledgment of my question. Seems a real shame. The title of the thread says Noob Friendly. But I can't even get any one to yes, no, boo, or anything. I would have hoped someone would at least tell me they had no idea. Go figure!

Deactivate Night Mode.

I recently bought a Moto Z XT1650-03, the phone is unlocked.

Its a good device but Im having troubles with the camera. It has the "Night Mode" enable, doesn't matter if there are light or not, if it detects a little zone with dark it enable that mode. All my photos are defocused.

Someone knows how to deactivate that function in Moto Camera App?

More importantly, does the USB cable need to be removed after it is enabled?

Hello recently bought a second hand moto z droid verizon but its kinda weird, when power on the device it usually get frozen and restart like 3 times until it fully boot, also it wont power off or restart when I press it just say android is shutting down. You think if I flash the most recent version which is the XT1650_GRIFFIN_VERIZON_7.1.1_NCLS26.118-23-13-3 make some difference?. If anyone can help gonna appreciate so much.

It don't have wifi either, flashed the entire XT1650_GRIFFIN_VERIZON_7.1.1_NCLS26.118-23-1-1 which have it installed when i received it and the NON-HLOS.bin from erfanoabdi but still with the issue.

Hi hope it can help a little, first if you have the option to enter settings just do a long swipe up then u can enter to about phone, then do another long swipe and click it the 7 times. When you enter to dev options need to do a slow swipe from OEM unlock to upper side of the screen and then u can enable the usb debugging.

Don't know if the cable need to be removed after u enable it cause my cable is generic and i cant connect it to computer.

I've got Moto Z 32Gb 1650-3 reteu with unlocked bootloader. At first I updated phone via OTA to 7.1.1 118-20-5-11 version and everithing was ok. But then I decided to decrypt my phone, flashed TurboZ kernel with TWRP, formatted data, get errors with that and bootloop. I tried to flash latest reteu firmware from firmware.center, but it was marshmallow and i got errors with bootloader and gpt.bin in flashing process. And of cause bootloop. At first i get device back to life by flashing this MM ROM, flashing TWRP over it and flashing ErfanROM from TWRP. Device started and worked fine. But then I decided to back to stock anyway. And flashed GRIFFIN_NPL26.118-20_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip from the firmware catalogue root, not from 1650-3 folder. And it's worked! I updated to latest 7.1.1 118-20-5-11 again and everithing was working fine. But then i discovered, that my IMEI became =0 (zero). Wherein all phone functions is working fine! So I'm using phone without problem. But is it possible to restore IMEI, or it is impossible? May be I lost EFS, but it is usually connected with losing ability to using phone functions, isn't it?

Does anyone else experience intermittently USB OTG in stock ROM? Works fine for a small amount of time, then it disconnects and have to reconnect it again... Same for USB keyboard or flash drive

Bro you are like me I am also having problem with this . The problem is that you have flashed​ modemst of different region and you need reflash modemst of your region after reflashing you will get everything as you wanted
