Is it possible to flash eea to a global device?
Can i just flash single partitions after wiping data or do i have to follow a specific procedure?

Is there no way to toggle the Flashlight with the screen off? Aka Hold the power button to turn on flashlight?

Is there no way to make that using the volume buttons always changes media volume first?

Can i not reduce the vibration intensity?

no option to double tap the screen to wake it up?

Why can't i hide the 3 button navigation bar when i'm not using it.

I really need help, my nothing phone is bricked (stuck at bootloader) because i'm tried to locked my bootloader following this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...unroot-nothing-phone-1.4479081/#post-87911541 )

should i try flashing every version of nothing OS? install original / custom kernel maybe? flash boot recovery.img? or i must say goodbye to my nothing phone?

(sidenote : i'm using stock boot 1.1.7 Global and also tried flashing stock boot 1.1.6 Global | Device : Spacewar | Bootloader : 00872 - Lahaina-2.487493.1)

Update :
Somehow i got into recovery mode (how did that happen, i have no idea at all)
then i proceed to wipe data / factory reset, then apply update from adb (i got Global Full 1.1.6 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...repo-of-nothing-os-update-15-12-2022.4464039/)
but nothing phone seems to have strict policy about downgrade.

where can i get Global Full 1.1.7 ? or should i sideload Nothing OS 1.5 Beta?

Final Update :

Finally my nothing phone is alive, but on partition b though

just do this :
switch to partition_b (flashboot --set-active=b)
entering recovery mode
entering flashbootd (or flashboot reboot flashboot)
flash super.img on fastbootd (mine on global version, download from this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-unbrick-nothing-phone-1-fastboot-bootloop.4501439/)
wipe cache / data (fastboot -w)
and finally manually flashing OS 1.1.6 (download full version and extract it from payload.bin using payload dumper go)

voila, your nothing phone is alive again

i'm still got unanswered question regarding my partition a (about odm, product, vendor, and system partition not found on partition a but exist on partition b)

The imei issue can go away if you can set the right / default values in the engineering app present on my 1.0.2 firmware.I reckon it cannot be resolved by upgrading the os as the engineering app allegedly disappears in later releases and can not be invoked by dialing*#*#66336#*#* anymore and i dont know about using imeiwriter software tool mentioned somewhere here but I know for sure that you can revert back to the values that will make your imei/phone/baseband issues go away just by using the engineering app alone - I messed it up repeatedly myself when I got the phone myself
In bootloader mode if you choose to reboot to FTM or QMMI modes there's a chance of bootloping if the right combination of hardware buttons is not pressed to reboot back to system..The android recovery options are only becoming accessible after you press volume up button after booting into recovery / seeing the screen with your android laying down on its back.Above info relates to 1.0.2 firmware as this is the only one I used.

Hi everyone.

I've got a random glitch using whats app on my nothing phone 1. Say ive taken a picture using the normal camera, then share it on whats app. I will load up whats app and click on the attachment icon to attach the latest picture ive taken. this is where the issue happens. for some reason all of my pictures taken show a date from 1970. but any videos taken show the correct date and are in order. This is fustrating becuase I then have to scroll down lots to find pictures from 1970, even though ive just taken the picture.
if i back out of whats app and check gallary/photos for the date and time on the said pictures, they are corect.

Wierd, hope somone can help

Hi, so like a noob I saw the release of 1.5 beta I jumped straight into trying it out. Now my Google Pay is not working. I thought of reverting back to 1.1.7 but I found out in the process I will lose all my data. So I am trying to avoid it plus A13 is way better. I saw a post in this forum saying there is a work around that can get Wallet app to work using zygisk but then it will require me to root the device. My question is whether rooting the device will make the bank apps unusable. The bank apps are working on the 1.5 global beta currently. Also if you can mention some positives and negatives as to why someone should or shouldn't root a device. I am new to this community so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

hi all. the phone after full discharge is constantly in the fastboot state. enable adb mode and oem unlock fails. there is no way to unlock the bootloader either. is it possible to restore the phone?

Nothing Phone 1 Firmware do not have emmc, raw program and patch file.




I own a heavily Bricked Nothing Phone 1. Currently, I am trying to bring it back to life. It is detected as Qualcomm HS_USB QDLoader 9008 (Com3). After spending some time online, i got a possible solution, flashing it using QFIL. I downloaded the firmware, it didn't have 3 files needed to start the flash process which were raw program XML file, patch file, prog emmc file. I looked up Online for these file specifically, But found nothing. Do anyone know what should I do.

Another Noob question - like some people above I went to A13 and V1.5, but like them my app pay wont work, so tried downgrading to 1.1.7 but now my Nothing one just shows the "Nothing" logo in the middle and top left shows "press any key to shutdown" I cannot use fastboot commands or anything - anyone have an idea of what to do?

Hello, I see a lot of questions about flashing, so I'll add one more:
Phone version: SpacewarEEA
I've tried Evolution X7.5 and after several days decided to return to 1.1.7 with locking bootloader.
Problems are next:
1. I downloaded full package of 1.1.7, extracted boot and vendor_boot images, flashed it and now in bootloader have phone version "Lahaya", i assume something is not ok.
2. Because of EvolutionX is built at Android 13 I'm getting now message in default recovery that I can't downgrade version of firmware.

Right now I flashed PixelExperiencePlus as temporary solution.

So my questions:
1. Is there ok that phone shows, that he is "lahaya"?
2. Is there any possibility to downgrade to Android 12?

I flashed pixel Experince rom all good, tried to go back to Nothing OS but i just cant! I ended up flashing Paranoid rom for now.
I can´t boot to recovery and i cant flash Nothing OS 1.16-1.1.7-1.5.
I´m using EEA Nothing Phone. Can someone help me! I really want to go back to Stock rom.

Hey guys I need your help with notifications.
If I have no notifications, like for example on facebook messenger, I get the first one with sound and glyph lights. But if I don't swipe the notification away, I don't get anymore notification sounds, only the lights and it's absolutely insanely frustrating. I've got the phone today and I instantly updated it to the latest available OTA update which is 1.1.7. I tried disabling adaptive battery, tried going into notifications for the app. Everything is enabled. I've had Enhanced notifications turned on. I tried Even factory resetting the phone. Nothing helped. Does anyone have any idea what can I do? I am starting to think I need to return the phone...

It's a directional microphone for the video recorder and call noise reduction; most phones put these around the frame, Nothing opted to put it on the back for... the sake of symmetry?
