Hey my Nothing Phone ist randomly Crashing after i rooted It. Doin nothing Special or anything IT Just randomly stops responding and fully Crashes so that i need to restart It

Are you on 153 or 153 hotfix? The sw version is the same (153 on the info screen)

Is there a way to force specific app to 120hz? My main browser locked down to 60fps, unfortunately (I'm using firefox nightly from the play store). Usual stable firefox works with 120fps

My call history is automatically being erased I mean previously I've used poco f1 I still had whole 3 years of call data but in nothing phone 1 I can barely see 20 days call history. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you

How do I reset the system partition to its factory state? It seems that a factory reset only resets the data.
Can I apply the 1.1.7 update zip and then all the incremental updates while keeping my data?

Hi

I want to end up with OnePlus. What is happening now with this brand is a failure. It's getting worse and worse from version to version of Android, just like from phone to phone.
/I will probably go for the NP2.

Is the phone root friendly?
Doesn't the manufacturer create strange ploys like it is now with OnePlus?
After 9 Pro stopped sharing kernel, OOS became more ColorOS. Stuffing unnecessary and junk apps. Not to mention support and delayed updates.

PS. Would like to hear from phone owners what's the plus and what's the minus (yes for model 1)

Hey! I haven't installed any modules in a while, I've had a pending busybox install for a while, just had to reboot but haven't done that in a week maybe. Now when I tried connecting my phone to my computer and selecting transfer files in the notification, it said that I had to enable developer options. Which I thought was weird because it has always been on.

When I tried pressing 7 times on the build to enable it again nothing happens and no notification at the bottom saying "you're x presses from enabling dev options" or whatever it says. I then tried to restarting my device by pressing restart on the power menu but nothing happens, the menu just dissapears.

I don't know if I want to force power down my device, this seems kind of suspicious and I really dont want to enter a bootloop.

Does anyone know what this might be and if it's safe to force power down it to check if it fixes itself? I just want to make sure if this is something known.

I accidentlally locked my bootloader in a phone that was bricked and repeatedly circling the booloader. Any ideas on how to unlock it because when I tried to use the unlcok command, it says "Flashing Unlock is not allowed."

Hello everyone,

I'm terrible at this whole story with firmware, adb & fastboot.

I wanted to upgrade from Nothing OS 1.5.2 to 1.5.4.

I installed the image 1.5.4. from xda via "fastboot flash boot" and it is bricked now.

I downloaded the ROM file from reindex, tried to install 1.5.4 first - it didn't work, then 1.5.2 - it didn't work either.
It is not possible to "Wipe data/Factory reset" through recovery because it says:
-- Wiping data...
E: DM_TABLE_LOAD failed: No such device or address
E: Could not create snapshot device: odm_a
E: Could not map snapshot for partition: odm_a
E: Unable to map partitions to complete merge.
Unable to check merge status and/or complete update merge.
Unable to check update status or complete merge, cannot wipe partitions.

What to do?
Help me, please.

I have question about incoming call. Today accidentally my Nothing Phone stop showing them.
I borrowed another smartphone from my friend and try call to myself. It seems my Nothing Phone just
reject any calls. Display don't show any notification. Like no one calls.
What is weird. I can call to anyone. Incoming calls seems... Blocked?? I didn't make any settings
changes. Yesterday everything was fine.
If someone have idea how to fix this, please help.

Try your sim in another phone, if you still don't receive calls, check with your carrier to make sure there is no Incoming Call barring set.

There's a way to force the highest refresh rate in developer options.
