Thanks to great Omate shipment experts my watch is still at customs...

Ten days they are deciding what will they do...
No invoice, no CE certificate, shipment declared as gift - 10$...

Really, really sad...

I won't get TS2 even if I get it for free...

I said I won't whining here but this is something truly incredible and unbelievable...

Another question, though I guess I know the answer already. Is there anyway the Omate can be used as a TV remote or other form of remote? I'm guessing it isn't possible as it doesn't have IR, another thing Samsung did right.

I have to be honest - I don't have a clue, mate...

I thought it'll be something like xxxx/24/04/2014/1900 or 2100 but then again you would figure that out...

Someone with a watch will know...

Believe me mate, I would be very happy if something like that is possible...
But I really doubt that...

It's fraud, that for sure but KS rules are protecting them...

It's interesting to see that they are still offering same specifications, 1.3Ghz and 5mpx camera and we all know that's not true...

I can accept changing in KS campaign but all those guys who preordered watch are deceived.
If they start one huge lawsuit they could succeed but one man alone can't do anything and I'm sure Omate knows that and counting on that...


And the answer to your question is NO.
It can't be used as a remote controller out from the box.
I'm using all my gadgets (Android devices) as a remote controller and media centar but with chromecast, ezcast and wifi on tv.

There are many apps for that but you have to have tv with wifi or one of that wifi/miracast dongle...

No. I got it from Expansys. It says it is a Kickstarter Developers Edition on the back. That's all I know. Intrestingly, Omate are selling these watches now on their Chinese website, no mention of a delay in shipping or anything. It would seem if you live in China you can get an Omate now with no waiting time at all.

Anyway, if anyone can help me then please let me know. I wondered if it would be the same as the EU version as the watch was advertised as 2100HZ and I know it works as I posted one to my friend in the UK and he was able to make calls on it.

If it's working in UK and 3g is working as well, with current firmware, then it's 2100.
3g can't work in EU if it's 1900...

Hi,

Which launcher do you use on your Omate? I've tried with Nova but the problem is that with Nova or any other launcher that isn't the stock one I can't load the notifications menu nor see the notifaction bar.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Yeh I had that prob, only the stock or OUI launchers show the notifications bar, it is still there, you can see it by dragging down on it... I decided to go back to OUI as it gives me best performance etc against the others...

Hoping someone can help. I have a 1/8/2100, running Loki's Unified rom and rooted. I've added a Google account, but would like to switch to my alternate account. Can't access accounts from settings due to the FC issue with Loki's rom, and I cant seem to find any way to add an account via any of the Google apps once I've already got one. Is there any way other than a factory reset?

How to fix the "problem" with the hack code *#20130920

I have received my TS this week and to be honest I'm lucky with it...
I have istalled a few apps and everything worked well...untill i found a post "...it's easy to activate playstore by typing in that hack code *#20130920"
After that all google apps start with a error message "this app is using google play services, this device is not supported...."
bevor the hack-code every app worked fine...
how to deactivate this ?

finally! hope to see you work some magic on it mate!

do check the firmware before flashing the secured ROM though as the batch with the latest May stock rom won't work directly with the previous March Lokifish secured rom due to a different EMMC chip.

Yep, I know...shi*y firmware but that's the way it is...
Actually, my watch us from second batch, it has been sent from China at 24.04.2014 but my custom office wouldn't want to let it go... (shipping experts are really experts )

Anyway...

I'll do few things but it would be really tricky to build mods that will work on all versions.

I'm planning to build brightness mod and touchscreen mod (fix for over sensitive screen) but we'll see when it arrives...

If it's OK I'll keep it

If you have recovery the easiest way is go to recovery and wipe data and cache...(dalvik cache and cach)
That should do the trick...
