So, my Google Assistant no longer will send text messages. One of the tech ppl told me to uninstall updates and that seemed to work. So is it safe for me to assume it's just a bad update of the Google app? Any workarounds?
Likely just a bad install, if you re-update it should still work,So, my Google Assistant no longer will send text messages. One of the tech ppl told me to uninstall updates and that seemed to work. So is it safe for me to assume it's just a bad update of the Google app? Any workarounds?
I purchased Pixel 4 XL and i had default weather on the home screen. Next I installed few updates and weather just gone. I don't see this weather in widget section. Is chance to back this weather? How will i do?

This is on android 11
So I haven't had a Pixel device since the 2XL. I ended up returning my 3XL because I didn't find myself liking it too much + was dealing with one too many issues.
I moved to OnePlus and now I've ordered the 4XL. Should be here Monday.
I've kind of forgotten how to do OTA updates on Pixel, and I'm curious if anyone can fill me in on how it's done. A quick refresher would be appreciated!
Because with OnePlus, you just go into the settings app and choose "local upgrade", find the OTA zip and hit install.
I believe there isn't anything like that for Pixels, and since TWRP seems it may not be a reality in the near future, I'm wondering how else I'd update my device to the newest monthly patches without having to use fastboot?
I am aware of removing the -w in the script but that still does a factory reset even though it keeps /sdcard/ intact. That's been my experience with it anyway.
Sorry for the long post and I know this is more of a question for the future but I thought I'd be prepared ahead of time.
TL;DR: A quick refresher on how to perform an OTA update without TWRP and without any kind of wiping.
Thanks in advance!!
FYI SDK Platform-tools has been updated to r29.0.6
Hey guys ...
So my Coral is now stuck in boot (G and "loading bar" below), since I tried to reflash all the Magisk Modules in one go ...
Anyone has an Idea how to get my phone back to working? :l
ADB's not authorized and (at least on my work laptop) fastboot isn't being found.
Edit:
Just managed to boot with this image:
