All you have to do is find older version of flashtool and stock JB ROM.
Flash the JB one first, boot your device up, turn it off and flash the stock LP ROM, and you're done.

Android os draining most of my battery by sending and receiving wifi packets 
, I want to know if it's normal or not? And can I stop this process.?

my phone won't turn on.
my xperia z won't turn on. when i switch it on.. it shows sony logo then waves animation and get stuck and this process repeats. i want help if anybody can tell how to get my data saved in it.
xperia companion says phone can be repaired with software update but all data will be lost. but i want my data not to be lost. :crying:

If ur bootloader is unlocked
Try flashing twrp in fastboot mode
And then install any ROM without wiping data
Or
Flash stock ftf
Through old flashtool like 0.9.18
Uncheck the option of wiping data in flashtool

Apologies for the noob nature of this question, but it's so generic I can't find an answer to it anywhere.
I need to run the Brexit registration app so we can stay in the UK after Brexit. I can't post the link yet unfortunately, but it's called "EU Exit: ID Document Check". They've made this pretty hard.
The app requires Android 6+ and NFC.
As I'm normally on Apple, I bought the cheapest NFC phone on ebay I could find which was an xperia Z. I didn't realise how old this phone was at the time as I was only focused on the NFC bit. That was probably a mistake. Anyway I've upgraded to 5.1 via the official route. But it looks like 6+ and beyond requires a root and a ROM from XDA. The thing is, I'm only doing this to run the blasted app - and given this is a Government issued app from the Play store that checks my government issued passport, I'm certain they've securified it up the wazoo.
So can someone more experienced help me with the likelihood of me being able to:
(a) Run the Play store so I can install this app once rooted?
(b) Run the actual app once rooted to 6+?
If it's a guaranteed zero then there's no point me spending the time rooting. If it's more than that then I'll go up and read up. Or maybe there's some official way to get to 6+?

My sony Xperia z c6603 was running fine till last month . But now it has been causing a flickering problem. I am confused it is a hardware or software problem. I had made factory reset two times When it was factory resetting there was no any flickering not even single flicker . It is running last updated version 5.1.1. Sometimes when i turn it switch off and turn on sony logo blinks and flickering occurs til the andoid is optimising screen comes . When phone boots up it works normally and after some time it starts flickering.
