Help to install ARABIC OTA for legend

Hi all...
First I wanna say, if you have a rooted phone, s you can install any rom you want ( Downgrading or upgrading is not a problem for rooted phones ), but the point is, if you want to install any rom on your rooted phone, you have to be ensure abolut the rootness of the new rom, if your new rom does not rooted, so you lost your root, otherwise you can keep your root.
Second thing is, as I got from Balyo's statements, we have to have 1.27.xxx.xxx eclair rom before installing this new arabic support rom, so, if we had it, but now we have the 3.15.405.3 version, does it mean, we have to downgrade to 1.27 first again and then install this rom..??

1- Please create Arabic Rom

2- Plesae change (DroidSansArabic.ttf) font by Attaced font. Because Original Arabicfont has very bugs
3- Please Add Market Because Arabic rom not have Market.apk

Well, this OTA is from 1.27.466.7 to 3.30.466.6. So I would need RUU 1.27.466.7. Second option is RUU 1.27.466.5 and another OTA that would bring me from 1.27.466.5 to .7 prior to upgrading to 3.30.466.6. Is such upgrade available or not? I can't check coz I'm on a short vacation.

Do not upgrade to latest OTA if you wanna S-OFF your Legend! If you do, you won't be able to downgrade your HBOOT and S-OFF won't be possible!

No 1.27.466.7 ruu or 1.27.466.5 to 1.27.466.7 ota update

I think this a mistake of htc to numbering build number or Forgotten to released this version

You can make the a ROM by this files?

I agree that this is a mistake,because my phone original Rom is the Egypt Rom from Vodafone,however I removed it and installed the WWE ROM.
I bought ny phone on October I think !
Since that I don't think that there were an update.
Since the ota is named Egypt ,so this is the ota for that RUU.

Nope, I'm afraid this won't go... sha checksums for expected files are different than those from RUU. So as I said we need RUU .7 or OTA .5 to .7 or someone who has .7 on his/her phone.

I want to propose, if it is possible, someone who updated with this OTA, just make a backup from the rom and put it here.
I tried to use the OTAs to extract what we need to add persian/arabic full support to other roms, or at least to a rooted rom, but because of the update nature of the files, I could not extract the files.
They pushed to types of files in there, some of them are relevant for extraction, like LIB files Framework files and ... BUT the problem is here, HTC desigend a localization process in these updates, if your region ( that found with the 1.XXX.xxx.xxx part of the installed rom ) is in middle east you can have the arabic update and so on, but how?? they designed a PATCHE folder and update part that it checks your region and then copy the files from this folder to their systemic folders.
I wanted to use those files, but after checking I found that those are not relevant files because for example, if you have normal lib files, their extension name is .SO but for these patch files, all their names, changed to for examle in lib files, .SO.P and I did not try to change their extensions and ...
If anyone tried anything else, please tell us.
Maybe we can do something here...

And another thing, if we have an image or nandroid backup of the UPDATED ROM on any phone, we can change it to what we need.
The question is, who applied the update in his/her phone??
If you can find a nandroid backup from an updated version of the rom, maybe it is possible to do something...

thanks for ur kind help to load the Egypt rom

is it possible to downgrade the image version to the same arabic rom(1.27.466.5) then use the official rom after that get the official update, cuz it is difficult to get some one who update it.

i mean by using the misc1-2 & flash_image from the official arabic rom (1.27.466.5)

if u help me to get those files (misc1-2 & flash_image) i might do the rest

If any updatetd phone to one of these updates found, make a backup of that here and I will do the rest ( But it is possible it does not work, but I can try at least.. )...
Just try to find someone, who updated the phone to one of these updates, and just put the nandback up here...

Once again, you can not do a nand backup if your phone is not rooted! Phone has to be at least temp rooted and only then you could use dump_image...

by the way:
I cant use adb push every time I use it the phone restart when replacing the framwork.jar\


I use the B.07 can I put the new framework on zip file and use the recovery to install it as a new rom ?

I got it,I have to use the adb push while on recovery

however I updated the framework and still cant shape my sms proberly.
