Is it possible to install TWRP after update to Android pie 9 on Mi A2 Lite?

Hi, i tried to install it in my mi a2 lite, but after installation it shows me a system damaged screen when i try to boot mi device in recovery mode. I think twrp is not compatible with this device.

I would be really careful I have read that it based on the last boot and will break and also it was buggy on o already

I'm also looking forward for this, forgot to unlock the bootloader before updating.

Edit: I was still able to unlock it on pie and root with magisk, no problem
