Help Unlocking Bootloader Failed! (Htc dev)

Thanks. I own different htc phone and I just realised that i'm in the wrong section of the forum. Silly me. But if you could still unlock bootloader for me under 'all supported device' then I would be grateful. I feel silly now for posting in different section :eek:

I just went through the same issue trying to unlock my EVO LTE. Same error saying that the code wasn't the correct length, but I just did this yesterday for my daughter's evo 4G and no problem there. I think it's just HTC's issue. Since others are having the same problem.

I have a question though...I noticed that some are posting their unlock.bin for others to use. This won't work correct? Isn't each code generated a unique token that identifies with that specific phone that it was ran for? Meaning that it won't work with another device? Just asking, if you know that answer, please let me know!!!! :)

Each code is unique to each device :D

When you guys are copying your token from the cmd window start at the bottom right and end at the top left

I just thought this might be of help for someone. Initially, I tried about 20 times on google chrome to unlock bootloader but never worked. This morning I tried it once using Internet Explorer 10 and kaboom it worked straightaway and got my token immediately in my email. I don't know if it's browser related or not but there ya go!
