My Tab have clear Sound

Hear this MP3 from Wather.com in German

Recorded with a Acer 511 Tab from Sony Z4 Tab LTE

The Diverence to the Linked MP3 are very Big !!!

The very Little Noise come from Recording. I hear no Noise on the Speaker from Xperia Z4 Tab

Now i have the Volume very low and gone with the Ear very near the Speaker. Ok now is a very little Noise to hear. Hold normaly the Tab nothing to hear.

The Test with my Acer 511 here is no Noise when im take Ears very near Speaker.

The Sony Noise is diverence from Modell to Modell?
Various Xperia Z4 Tabs Noise is very little and another Noise is bigger?

I bought my third tablet (z4, 32Gb, wifi only, black) yesterday in a Saturn in Germany.
Same problem .... I can hear a really loud white noise, when the tablet sound is low ... I'll try to record the noise tonight.
I never had this problem with my z2 ...

Does anyone already got a "quiet" z4 in Germany? And if yes, where did you buy it?

My Z4 Tablet LTE is affected. UK stock bought from John Lewis.

[Edit] I'll give it more of a test tonight but i've noticed it.

Yeah, my LTE is affected with an above-average noise floor. No crackling though.

I can only hear it with volume at almost the lowest in the dead of the night, otherwise it gets drowned by other small sounds. So no big problem IMHO but nonetheless shouldn't be there in a flagship device and by far the most costly Android tablet here in Sweden.

Well, I'm also using my tablet in my bed before sleeping watching a tv show episode, or playing a bit ... exactly in the dead of the night ... and with the sound at almost the lowest .... which is awfull with this high noise floor .... It's just making me crazy ... And when I look at all the comments, I think this is just how the z4 is ...

I have the Z3 Compact Tablet and love it so much that I want to upgrade it to the Z4 tablet. Crucially, has Sony acknowledged that it is an issue to be dealt with under warranty?

I really would prefer not to have to deal with a shop insisting that it is not a fault but a 'feature', i.e. part of the design.

Here in the UK it looks as if John Lewis have stopped selling it, possibly for this reason. That is speculation on my part but some of the complaints come from John Lewis customers.

There are very few top quality Android tablets and I want Sony to succeed in this end of the market. But I can't take the risk of buying until I get a clear picture. A statement from Sony would help.

Hi everybody,
I installed the official new firmware 28.0.A.8.260,
and the white noise has been reduced a lot!
I can finally use the tablet without extern loudspeakers!
This was probably a software issue.
