Yes, there is info in the "answers" post at the top of this section.

Are you still downloading? If so, the third thing I would add to that list is a broadband internet connection. :)
YEs, still downloading. I don't know why the hell my internet is so slow today. Normally this would have been downloaded in like 15 minutes at the worst.

1) Always create a backup before making any changes to your system - no matter how trivial the changes may seem. You can never be too careful.
I'd just like to say once more - not being able to make a backup should ALWAYS be a showstopper right there. Imagine if you were fixing your car and you needed to get the top off of something and you needed to undo some screws to do that, but you couldn't get the screws loose or something. Would you force the thing open with a crowbar or something? Does that make any sense?

I noticed on another thread that you mentioned you had a bad experience flashing your first ROM. Well, you did. But, that was because you weren't set up properly to do it. Now you are. Also, you picked a tough first ROM to try (even if you had been set up properly). Th3bill make great ROMS, but he likes to use aroma installer. They can be complicated for the less experienced user.

My suggestions (all are almost as easy to install as the fruit cake):
CM7 - fully functional
Joker's CM9 - fully functional except video camera (won't happen until official ICS comes out)
Epinter's CM10 - a few bugs, but still a great ROM (also no video camera)

Good luck!

Just seeing this now. I got a CM7 ROM on it that I love (neutrino I think), so I'm going to stick with that for the forseeable future.

How does chrome work on Joker's CM9 or Epinter's CM10? ANd jokersax's site is down, I can't even download his CM9

Just flashed epinter's cm10. chrome sucks still, i think it's because of hardware acceleration. default gallery app doesn't show my picasa online albums. quadrant testing fails on the 3d test. other than that it works like a charm, much better than the other JB ROM I messed around with.

Neutrino is a great ROM.

I heard Joker was having some personal problems. I don't know if his site being down is related to that or not, but it's been down for a while.

All the CM9/CM10 problems are HWA related. No ICS kernel + no ICS drivers = won't be fixed anytime soon. :(
