I just bought a Verizon Dev Edition S5 from swappa, which works for me since I flash a lot of custom ROMs, but I'm not a developer by any means. My question is, with this phone, every time I flash a custom
ROM with the recommended kernel, I have no service. The stock rom works fine, but that defeats the purpose. I did read that I need to flash a modem, which I though explained everything, but that didn't work, either. I didn't think it mattered which modem I flash as long as it matched the device. Should I flash the ROM, kernel and modem in any particular order? Please help! Stuck on stock until then!
