Hello friends i need your help .. i am girl and newbie.. i used huawei ideos x6 ..last night i got HTC one v ( INDIA , gsm )which in jelly bean 4.0.1 .. i tried to flash
[AOSPA 4.2.2 JDQ39] PARANOIDANDROID 3.1x [beta][08/03/2013]... as i know just some functions only my previous mobile ..so same like that i flashed ... but it stuck in front page then nothing ...

what i do .. even i don't know it is rooted or not ( but when i brought from my friend so it was in jelly bean .) so please help me .......
what i do i am newbie + girl so you can understand it ...

first of all your one v which is in 4.0.1 is not jelly bean.

now reply these qn.

1. is it unlocked? ( to check that you can turn off phone then start via pressing power button and volume down key simultaneously it will show bootloader screen)
2. Is recovery installed (when you are on bootloader u can click on recovery)
3. have you flashed 4.2 kernel?

Hello, you are the first girl in the one v forums!
First of all I've never heard of android 4.0.1 running on one v. It shipped with 4.0.3
Also, did you flash the correct kernel? Without that the ROM won't boot

sorry i just want to say i don't much knowledge .. I am normal girl so it is very hard to use smart phones romes .. please help me .... how i can go in Bootloader.. my mobile doesn't go from page ... i am using vol down button and lock button ... then recovery ...
so i don't know what kernel...
unlocked in pink

i just want any rom in working continuation ... please give me step to any rom with kernel.. remember i can only use by pressing vol and lock button ..

please help

HTC has something called a boot locker...did u unlock it...
Do u have a custom recovery other than stock....drivers installed?
Y u jump to conclusions research first
Being a girl did not give u privileges to post in wrong sections please post on correct sections....
