Here we go again! Update to P2a42 s233

Just dropping this here so you guys know an update is available.
P2 is still running 7.0, I have no idea what's changed.

got the update. it was something like 78mb. still 7.0 and still 1 feb 2017 sec patches. uncertified.

All the old issues are still there. It seems that the fingerprint reader is a little bit faster. People say that battery is better too, but i really dk, I've been using it all day.

To me it feels like there might some sarcasm in the air....
But i think battery really is much better now.. today it only drained 22% with normal use before it was around 35-40%!!

i tried to update this , as i am on STOCK unrooted.. but i remembered that i flashed the STOCK ZIP with TWRP !!
so changed flashed STOCK recovery.. and checked if its booting into StockRecovery,

now i downloaded the update ! but its failing to install the UPDATE !! i didnt understand why !! so tried flashing WHOLE STOCK MARSHMALLOW rom ( thinking that i could download both updates s232 and 233) but my phone is stuck at LENOVO unlocked LOGO

i tried reflashing all files, but its same !!

is it the DOWNGRADE from 7.0 to 6.0 causing this issue??

or say me any working method !! please ...

i want this update to be installed on my phone.................

I looked over logcat, then got the URL to download the ZIP of this OTA ( india),

can anyone make this a FLASHABLE ZIP ?? which can work with TWRP !!

i tried flashing with my Stockrecovery, but its failing to update ! any ideas??
i want this ZIP to be installed on my phone ;(

Things i tried :

Finally after Following some Tutorials :

i tested on my device, it rebooted at Patching Boot image !!
but installed ZIP succesfully, here is the zip which is TWRP flashable

Hi, thanks for being here..

i searched for path, but didnt get it, as i am not rooted..

i connected my phone to PC , checked LOG with adb command , and found the URL which i posted above.. i tried flashing with Stock recovery but couldnt get success, so tried TWRP by removing some lines( GETPROP lines in updater script) and made a flashableZIP but its also hanging at the end ,( patching boot image section) but it booted fine and now i am on s233 version..




Update: i tried wiping cache, dalvik, data and flashed the zip again.. now it flashed fine .. God knows whats wrong with my phone
so there is something wrong at the

Hmm so you flashed the S233 OTA just fine after you did factory reset. Ok, I'm not in the mood to wipe my phone, will see...

example : pressing battery status used to crash sometimes during old s232, but now its fixed
