Hey according to Phandroid, Sprint is making an announcement Feb 7. What do you all think it'll be?

I'm thinking the iphone 4....just kidding...lol. But hopefully another member to the Evo family.

I hope it doesn't have a keyboard. The only reason I would take this back is for a more powerful phone that has a keyboard.

I'd bet ANYTHING it has to do with HP Palm and web OS. Cuzco palm has an announcement the same day.

Good god I hope not, sprint is the only one of the big three that hasn't announced(or at least rumored) a dual core piece of hardware, I for one am hoping for something Qualcomm dual core or terga 2. I would hate to drop sprint just because they would rather ride the Evo until its been well surpassed....we'll see....

"industry first" so my guess is a 4G WinMo7 or 4G WebOS device (maybe WebOS tablet?) or some sort of major plan change. dual core phones are no longer a "first" since the announcement of several at CES.

could be a release date announcement for the PlayBook 4G as well. (this is pure speculation as i have no inside knowledge on any of these devices)

Dual core phone would be awesome, but until some kind of new battery is created, I really can't see myself getting one.

I love powerful phones, but how much is too much?

^ True, because having multiple virtual cores means they can run in parallel which saves power compared to having power hungry physical cores.

They'll probably start charging us per service (YouTube, Pandora, Facebook, etc.) but spin it in such a way that we'll think it's actually good news. That's why David Blaine's gonna be there. They need his mystical powers of mind control.

Seriously, it could be the 3D Android phone that you don't have to wear glasses for.

It would tie in to having David Blaine, and the phone has already been launched in Japan.
