So basically i live in a college where the wifi is without any protection but needs an username and a password once connected (like an hotspot). The connection lasts 1 hour then you have to put the password once again for another hour of connection. I just noticed that if i connect with my note 3 i have to write the password just one time than the connection will last forever until i disconnect the wifi. Is it possible that there is some sort of "auto-relog" that the phone makes every hour? any other have same experience?

cut down on bandwidth for people not really using it? To be honest idk, but it's a guess.
I just noticed this too at my hospital. My note 2 I had to re-log in every once in a while. Did not have to do it at all with my note 3 (except initial log n of course) during my overnight shift.
So use your Note3 as a modem via USB Tether. But make sure it doesn't use your GSM Data.
So i m not the only one... The only thing I can suppose is that the phone store the login information and reconnect automatically
