Is there any way to hide the APP icon in the drawer? Or group them or change icons with out root ?

What @spart0n said ^. Nova Launcher (I paid for Nova Launcher Prime ~8+ years ago), and I don't bother trying any other launchers anymore - not even stock.
In addition to what others have said about Nova, also Hyperion and Lawnchair launchers.
With the stock launcher no. With MANY third party launchers yes.
Try a few, find what works for you.
