I was told that the new slimBOXtv 11.8 firmware no longer has the IPTV stream (50 FPS) bug.

Changes:
• Amendments to the icons of the status bar and the notification curtain
• In the settings For developers added Debugging settings
• ViPER4AndroidFX changed to version for android 11
• Updated built-in applications
• System amendments

Just tested the new slimBOXtv 11.8 firmware and unfortunately it's stil based on the old stock firmware that has the IPTV bug. Even local streaming from TVHeadend server doesn't work correctly.

Went back to the new stock firmware 2023.02.28 and everything works OK.

If you're going to use the slimBOXtv firmware you'll be disappointing with the IPTV bug. AFR works OK, but you should disable it for IPTV apps, since it makes zapping slow. Use AFR only to watch movies and TV shows.

I confirm. The Transpeed X4 slimBOXtv firmware still has the IPTV bug, but the firmware for its clone (Vontar X4) is working OK.

Thanks, bro yes absolutely, you are spot on, but I had this with the original firmware as well, On STB Emu Pro, on Xtream Codes IPTV, and on OTT Navigator, I do not know now if I used the above firmware you provided, I will test and write here again.

Just a tip, OTT Navigator IPTV is the best IPTV player for Android.

You can use M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker lists. Cloud backups are also pretty cool.

Guys what’s the procedure to load new android firmware ?
I’ve got coreelec running on it right now but would like to switch to aarm64 master releases which need super partition to work....
Tried male to male usb with pressing av button and not but box isn’t recognised by my pc.
Is that corner usb 2 you’re using to upload firmware ?


Edit; Found solution! Vontar x4 need power plug in before usb connection.
So here it is.
Push and hold av button, plug in 5v power supply and then usb male to male cable.

Finally, the slimBOXtv for Transpeed X4 got updated to the latest stock firmware.

• Changes: slimBOXtv has been updated based on the latest factory firmware
