Hello Friends,

I have a weird observation on my oneplus 6 that the display gives a hollow feeling wjen typing or tapping on the bottom center portion of the display.

Eg..when tapping centre keys / buttons like fhjyrruthhdjjsj on regular keyboard gives a distict hollow sound or hollowness feeling on display compared to the upper or side part of the display.

I am not sure if its one off case or common to other one plus 6 devices due to its design and internal build..however I did not face such observations on any other mobile that I have used.
( Ps: i dont have haptic feedback or keypress sounds on
Also ..using default screen protector film that came with it)

Some feedback will be appreciated on this observation

Are you sure that you have an authentic OP6 as opposed to a cheap Chinese $100 knockoff? You can check to see if you have Snapdragon 845 and 8GB ram by using an app like CPU-Z.
Regardless, there's zero difference in tap feeling at the top and bottom of my unit. I even did a blind test by randomly rotating the phone to make sure that both sides are the same. This is the North American model A6003.

Hey, another possibility - your phone has a defect.

I have an authentic one. its also registered on Oneplus site. But the model is A6000 (APAC region).
I dont think its defective..but I guess, its just the way its built. I dont observe that when there is noisy environment... I just happened to notice that yesterday at office (Sunday) where ai was the only one working due to one activity so was able to notice that as it was complete silence there.
