I actually upgraded to RC8. It was a lot of detail to the upgrade. I had to find the correct 3 files to the upgrade process for my leftside driven car. I have a crv 2015. The HU became a little bit faster and the GPS also faster at finding a point.
I don't install through the HU anymore. I install through third party app. Have you tried installing through an USB, or directly from the internal memory of the headunit?
Sorry should have said USB I factory reset the whole thing twice now even trying to install Mike's Permissions won't work as the install button is greyed out.
Are you on Rc6? Have you had Mike's permissions before?
To check the build version of the Connect there are 2 possibilities.
Well I tried to give it a try, the web version... and I was happy that my chrome browser can get GM !!!... but only for preview...That's right
They said, there will be no longer support for older maps.
Of course, they are joking, that if you would like to use GM still, you should move to newer than 9.64 GM version or Android newer than 4.3.
And the solution, according to Google statement, is to use GM via internet browser.
EDIT: That's interesting: some minutes ago, when I do restart of the system (in garage), GM starts and seems to work fine. Tomorrow I will check it up on the road, and then write some more.
1st.- You are in the correct forum ^^Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2016 Civic. Big upgrade from my 2001 golf.
I love it!
But I can't get to install Spotify on it, and waze.
I've looked into it abit, and tried Honda Hack but it doesn't support android 4.0.4.
I seem to be going around in circles.
I have tried the APK install and its greyed out, i cant click it.
I have also tried renaming it, still nothing..
I'm not very techy, i know bits but not tons.
Can anyone help at all? Or point me in the correct direction?
Would much appreciate it.
1st.- You are in the correct forum ^^
2nd .- the answer you are looking for is somewhere in this thread... I think someone did a summary 2-3 pages away from here... (else the initial answer is many pages away...)
It would be nice to be able to ping the answer so that you don't have to search... but i guess you will need to do some reading ;-)
3rd .- knowing the car you have is a great start!, you must also find out which navigation model you have, which kerner its running, and other stuff... again, from point 2, I am sure you can find that through the posts (or maybe search for RC6, i think its a good keyword)
Agreed, this makes the app so much more useable!
You can see mine here>
Hey we try to keep this forum in English ^^
I deleted it... the app I mean... as I am not using it in my HR-V...
