Honda Connect Android System

It's somewhere in this thread, but here it is:

Enter: it.smg.hu as process and package name. Then select NAVI. Video Out: OFF, SoundOut: ON, LastMode: ON.

In my case, even setting the 30fps option the UI is still laggy

Yeah I got it, tho, I've changed "AuthType" to "ThirdParty" cuz I've seen someone said it...

The lag is my least concern right now, the only thing rn is me trying to fix music cutting up when google maps or waze is main focus on screen (gotta say that when switching music in YT Music is laggy, it takes like 5sec to load next song)

So after a bit more testing.. Google Maps works okay now (it doesnt lag or die out anymore) tho, when using Google Maps and listening to music via Youtube Music, music is alot more stuttery then on Waze, but still it happens on Waze too (sometimes it works good for few mins, and sometimes its just cutting for 5-10 seconds wich is kinda annyoing, tho when I put main focus on YTMusic there is no lag anymore), tho I'm not sure what did I put on "AppType", I'm 98% sure its Multimedia but gotta check it tommorow. Does anyone else has that problem ?

Edit: was playing with it a bit, seems that I have fixed the problem... The problem was Bluetooth, so, I guess Audio was going thru Bluetooth, but it should have been going thru cable, so, since I cant disable bluetooth (it always turns back on when connected to AA), I went into my car bluetooth settings (Honda HFT) and disabled "Media Audio", since then I didnt experience stutters. Also fixed that YT Music was laggy when I needed to switch the song (it took atleast 5sec), now it switches song instantly.

And this is pretty much I wanted, Google Maps GPS is working really good, sat maps and live traffic works very well, Waze worked from day 1 as intended, Youtube Music works perfectly and it no longer stutters when I'm focused on Waze/Google Maps, Spotify also works without stutters (even I dont use it, but tested it).
Oh yeah, and switched AuthType in Honda Permission to Preinstall, everything seems to be working good right now.

Can you be specific?

What did you disable in Bluetooth?
Any permissions changes?

Scratch it. It worked good for like 5km ride and it started again, we will probably need to wait for new update that could take some time sadly.

Does anyone knows about a reset script for the Honda unit ?
Not even sure this exist for our unit, but in the pilot honda units (similar honda connect but not quite, they have 4.2.x lucky them) their unit resets by using a reset script that they can find under system/etc/factory_reset.sh
But with my bad root system I did not find such file...

Anyone knows if this exist or can check see if you have it ?

(i've also read about a 3 button pressing factory reset combination... but no one says what is this 3 button and I have not seen anything about that...)

Yes tried that script and nothing (its not for our console)... but its currently the clue I am working with, although not sure if the system is actually reading the script or not ^^
(hence me looking for the script of our system, if it exists)

I've pressed the 3 buttons which in theory take me to the diagnostics advanced settings but nothing I think its only available when the system boots.
I am stuck in the infinite H loop.

Here they say it can be repaired, but sadly they dont say how to do it

Yup, the system is connected externally ^^ so no car, no battery
I've have plugged it in, unplugged it, drained all the energy, etc...
Its my test unit that I recovered from another user and I am trying to revive

Under such settings I've made in my HU (see below), now I can say:
1. Phone (SGS20) looks like it could see, that Android Auto is on, besides of the fact, that phone is not connected via ccable, only via bluetooth. There is a message on the top of the phone screen like "Connect your phone to the Android Auto).
2. When I connect phone via cable, I need two times tap on the screen to connect. Abot 50% ends with crash of the app.
3. Unfortunately for me, with these setting there is no sound besides of the Google Maps commands; it means, there is no radio playing from Honda Unit or, for example, MP3 from USB stick.
4. With these setting, Google Maps says all the messages about you trip, even if the trip is long (e.g. 150 km), no crushing of the app noticed.
5. Of course, the button of YouTubeMusic on the Honda Unit screen is not fully working: it is possible to tap, but it doesn't do antyhing.
6. If I run YouTubeMusic from the phone, as previously some of members wrote, there is jamming of the sound and after some seconds, the app is crushing.
7. The same is with radio app in phone.

Well still no luck...
But i just learned that if you rename any file in your usb to ADA_usbdl.zip it will be loaded by the boot up system...
That said, I've tried modifying the ZIP files with other commands, or even just uncompressing it and recompressing it... and the system detects the modification and does not load the file ^^...

MaKi83, thanks for the brilliant work you are doing making this AA for the Honda Radios. I am running your latest I believe (14th Apr 22).​

My comments are similar to others so I won't repeat too much.
- Connecting requires as stated the double acceptance and can have an issue if it fails. I've found closing all on TM and starting again with the phone plugged in first fixes the issue.
- Some level of lag when moving up and down the screen etc which i expect is hardware and android version but wanted to state just the same.
- I do have a mic, FK2. Is there anyway in which you're able to enable mic pickup for calls as usually I have hands free via the Honda connect but lose it with the AA.
