my friend purchased a completely new Honor 10 COL-L29 running currently with EMUI 9.0.0. After a few months, he dropped the phone and broke his screen. When the phone came back from a screen repair center at our local mall it was stuck in boot-loop and sometimes if would never boot at all. Recovery only shows errors when I try to update software and data wipes don't work.
I am able to boot into the system sometimes when holding volume down and everything seems to be working fine but as soon as I open the camera or files app the phone shuts down immediately. I honestly don't know what to do anymore since the bootloader is locked and there are no fixes on Huawei website to look for. I am not a phone expert so maybe there is an easy way out of it. I would be really glad for any suggestions. Thanks
