Honor 6 Plus KangVip Full Port V4.2 Fix | 03/01/2019

I have allready the ROM from the First Page on my MAte 7. Now I'll install the Update... Do I need also install first the Honor+6+Plus+Generic+ZIP+Port and after that the PE_T2_E4_7.5.16_Kangvip Rom? Or is it better to make a Full Wipe and install it complete new?

No need full wipe just wipe system flash 7.5.16 then zip+port by Ale don't forget to wipe both cache after flashing both zip...:good:

Ok I'll try it. But now I have another Problem:

I put my Mobile via USB on my PC. But I can't get a data connection .... And I can't change on my Mobile if I want a Data Connection or anything else. I also changed the Cable. The Mate 7 is only loading ...

Enter Settings / Ksettings / More Settings / ProjectMenu / Background Settings / USB Port Settings, activate google mode.

Try to install system app remover form play store after install give root permission to app and then select the apps you want to remove but carefully don't remove other system app it'll soft break your device and double tab to wake and knock have issue with this firmware but in old post there's a fix zip by @Ale for camera and double tab flash that zip ro try hope it'll help you:good:...

Thank you for your respond. I had bad times but finally I managed to unlock my bootloader and install TWRP. Before I started, I was absolutelly beginner and I didn't even know what is bootloader. Plus that, english is not my primary language. But now I am starting to understand everything.

Now I have some questions before install of the KangVip ROM:

1) Is root needed for instalation of KangVip ROM? I unlocked bootloader without rooting.
2) I did full backup (ticked all checkboxes) with TWRP of my current system to SD card. Is the backup a snapshot* of my current system/settings?

*) snapshot within meaning that I will be able to restore my system/settings/apps(data) from the backup to the same state as it was before installing ROM? In case I will not be satisfied with the ROM ...

Root is not needed.
Yes u have a snapshot which u can restore

Thanks to this commity today I finally succesfully installed this ROM I like the many customizations that can be set in K-settings.

The only problem I found is that camera app not working. Other camera apps from google store seems working well, but they can't be accesed via shortcuts from lockscreen.

In this thread I've found this fix that should fix the camera: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862714888 Is this fix working for v7.5.1 ? Or is there way to change target apps for shortcuts on lockscreen?

EDIT: I tried install the fix, it didn't help. I changed the default camera app in settings, but shortcut from lockscreen still opens the huawei camera app

Yes it does... But if you're looking for lock screen wakeps when you pull your device form pocket, you'll need another app like Acdisplay or KinScreen...

I activate Bluetooth, I play Music with Spotify and then I open a Navigation App like Sygic oder google Maps. After a Short Time, 2-3 Minutes Spotify closes and the Music stops.

When I leave the Car and come back to it the normal Music Player is starting and plays somthing from my SD Card. How Can I remove this?

- Copy the PE_T1_E4_7.5.16_Kangvip.zip and the Honor+6+Plus+Generic+ZIP+Port.zip to your external SD card.
- If you don't have the actual version of TWRP for your Mate 7, then you can flash version 3.0.2. In my reupload is the TWRP image AND the mobopx tool. So you can use the tool or you can flash TWRP with adb the typical way.
- Reboot your Mate to Recovery (TWRP) and make a full backup to your external SD (so you can restore your complete phone if something bad happens)
- Now do a full wipe in TWRP ("extended wipe" but without external SD!!! goooood, that would be very bad!)
- Go to "Install" and select your external SD card.
- Install PE_T1_E4_7.5.16_Kangvip.zip
- Wipe Cache/Dalvik
- Install Honor+6+Plus+Generic+ZIP+Port.zip
- Wipe Cache/Dalvik
- Reboot! (takes 15+ min, so be patient)
