HONOR 8X EMUI 9.0 stable update is rolling out.

I got the February security update, installed it then got the pie update 2 minutes later, I'm based in the uk

Just updated a few hours ago two honor 8x to pie,one l22 and one l22.... Don't do the update!!! The phones are now very laggy and gaming performance is very poor!!!

I had the same problem. a factory reset will make it fast again. didnt try games but after factory feels faster and smoother than emui8.

Copy that. A reset made it nice and smooth again and as you say it feels smoother than EMUI 8

United States. I manually checked for the update. My wife also has a JSN-L23, but I just now manually checked hers and it did not have the update yet.

I noticed a similar bug in viber notification. I hope that devs corrected it in the next update (eg 9.1.0)

At last...my sim-free L21 in UK is getting the 9 update now.

Got this 9.0.1 update in the UK and now I can't switch to 3G/2G (e.g. I can't disable 4G). This is useful to me as I live in a tourist area and often the 4G network is overloaded but 3G works fine. The option in settings is still there, but it only has "4G/3G/2G" as an option, the others are gone.

Its better to do one time reset factory after big updates do this it can fix your problem .
