Hopping from CM to Touchwiz and back

Are there any special preparations/considerations when flashing from a TW rom (SACs) to a CM rom, and vice-versa?

I am hopping from cm and to Touch wiz too. I personally only backup WhatsApp and restore it when I flash either CM or touch wiz

Probably good idea to update profile and prl before going to cm as you can't do that in cm.

Also get a gps lock in TW then flash cm.

Nandroid before flashing either cm or TW.

It doesnt hurt to wipe system along with data and cache. If you wipe system, make sure you either have a Nandroid or a rom you can flash to boot into your phone.

Only had my 4 for a few days now (had been holding out for a good deal, got it at Best Buy for $1

I'd been using CM12 on my Note2 and couldn't help my self, so rooted and switched. But I lost my network connection and couldn't get it back, so I flashed back to stock.. And now the search is on! I miss CM, but see alot of the new Note 4 features are only found in TouchWiz?.. The search for my fav Ron could suck away my entire week.. So for now I'll suck it up and see what everyone else has to say. :what:

The secret to getting my network connections back was updating my kernel. So now I'll remember to always try a different kernel before giving up on a rom.
