Horrible video quality after uploads to Instagram for example

Hello all,

This device I am using is on the latest version we received via OTA in the UK. Whenever a video is uploaded to Instagram for example, the video Quality is shocking and stuttering basically.
When the video is beamed over to my MIX 2s and uploaded via my phone - not problem and smooth video.

We have already done a factory reset and restore which didnt help.

Have you checked out the video file system and specs of the one beamed VS the one on your phone? Maybe it's a codec or bitrate issue or rezolution

I havent. But shouldnt the source be okay anyways. Thats what copies over to me and works okay.
Once I upload it on the original device, the quality is horrendous
